Help us celebrate an awesome first year of the From Scratch Co-Op! I’m so grateful to be a part of it and looking forward to all that is to come in 2026 💫

❤️Reflecting back on the past year - OUR FIRST YEAR - of From Scratch Co-Op and what an incredible year it has been!

💓From Scratch Co-Op was born to help bring together both vendors and customers who were seeking locally produced food products in a one stop shop atmosphere.

❤️What it has grown into over the past year has truly been nothing short of amazing - we have been able to connect so many people to the path of supporting locally produced food items - cleaner ingredients, less ingredients, more natural food and body products.

🥰Seeing the faces and shaking the hands of the people producing your food connects you in a way to your community that cannot be replicated - only experienced.

⭐️47 NEW MEMBERS JOINED IN 2025
⭐️19 weeks of summer/fall market
⭐️An incredible Christmas Market
(attendance of 450+ people)
⭐️TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS GENERATED AND KEPT IN THE LOCAL ECONOMY

💥100% of all vendor and membership fees are used to support the needs of the coop and it's vendors! Lot rent, venue rent, sample supplies, content shoots and more!

💜From the bottom of every heart of every member of From Scratch Co-Op we TRULY THANK YOU!
- We had vendors routinely sell out or near sell out each week!

🤩We've already got our sights set for BIG THINGS in 2026 - we will start our monthly workshops in January 2026 kicking off with a sourdough starter workshop + more planned!

🎄A heartfelt Merry Christmas from the entire From Scratch Community!

💌We truly thank you for your support over the past year in our inaugural season - we hope you are enjoying anything FROM SCRATCH you received for Christmas this year.

💚As our old friend The Grinch says -

"Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more."

Wishing everyone a joyous holiday! ✨

What I am most thankful for this holiday season is you—this community—and the kindness, encouragement, and support of strangers turned friends. Thank you to everyone who has supported my journey by purchasing products, booking healing sessions, sharing resources, opening your homes, hearts, and farms, and walking alongside me in so many seen and unseen ways.

As winter invites us to slow down, may the days ahead offer moments of rest, warmth, and quiet renewal. However you mark this holiday season and the turning toward a new year, I hope it is filled with love and joy.

Well. It’s quite a bummer that was cancelled today, but you know what they say, you can’t control the weather! 🫤 I have had a few people reach out to ask where they can restock on Dancing Woods Apothecary items in the Canal Wi******er area, and I’m so touched! I do have products for sale in Cambridge, but I know that can be a trek for those of you outside this area. I still don’t have an online shop up either, sorry! That’s my winter project!m coming early next year. BUT in the meantime, I do ship items upon request and am able to send payment links for purchases. If you were hoping to grab something today at NYMCM, please feel free to reach out. I’m more than happy to get it out on the mail to you. Thank you for the love and patience as I grow this one woman operation. Your support means so much. ❤️ Wishing everyone a safe snow day!

This isn’t how we planned to end our year.

Overnight, conditions continued to shift. With the wind, the low temperatures, and Fairfield County currently under a Level 2 snow emergency, our priority has to be safety. Even if things might improve by market time, we can’t ask our makers to travel in from all over Ohio and neighboring states under uncertain and potentially dangerous conditions.

We hate canceling. Truly. Markets aren’t just events for our vendors, they’re a meaningful part of how many of them support themselves and their families. This is never a decision we take lightly.

But keeping our community safe always comes first. Our makers, our shoppers, our friends. Always.

If there’s one thing we ask today, it’s this
please keep shopping small.

Many of today’s makers will be opening online shipping very soon. If you had your eye on something, head to their website or send them a DM to arrange shipping or local pickup. Showing up for them still matters, even from home.

This isn’t how we wanted to wrap up the year, but we’re confident in this decision and grateful to be part of a community that understands that people come before plans.

Thank you for always showing up for handmade, for local, and for each other. 💛

THANK YOU, SO MUCH to everyone who joined us today for the From Scratch Co-Op Christmas Market! It always feels amazing to do a market right within my local community and wow, what a turnout! I don’t think any of us knew what to expect for our first holiday market with From Scratch but you all certainly did not disappoint. I wish I had more photos to share but I barely lifted my head up the entire time and forget having a chance to shop myself. 😅

Thank you for shopping and supporting all of us locals. It means so much this time of year. 🙏🏼 And thank you to our organizers and visionaries for the From Scratch Co-op, Bre and Sara! AND of course to our hosts The Farm at Old World Garden. What a beautiful venue.

If you aren’t already a member of the co-op, I hope you’ll consider joining (visit the website to learn more). We have some great things in store for 2026. https://www.fromscratchcoop.com/

Wishing everyone a happy holiday season. 🎄🕊️
