Helena joined Alleviate Massage and Muscle Therapy in October 2022 and has proven to be an incredible asset to the team! Helena brings both her formal training at the Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks, as well as her own personal experience with chronic pain to the massage table. Initially discovering bodywork through her struggles with chronic Lyme disease, Helena remembers the unbelievable relief she felt during her first massage, as her unceasing chronic pain was finally released. In that moment she recognized the immense power of bodywork to heal the body and the crucial role it could play in so many peoples’ lives. That is why Helena is thrilled to be a therapist on the Alleviate team: so she can bring these powerful healing modalities to you. Modalities that Helena offers here at Alleviate include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hot stones, cupping, pregnancy massage, and Craniosacral therapy. Through these techniques, Helena helps her clients reduce their pain, increase their mobility, and release the tensions their body is carrying.
