This morning, January 17th, as I sat in my cozy home, I looked out upon the moon lit snow covered ground. [ I admit to not being a person who enjoys the cold weather and I am looking forward to the arrival of Spring].
As I sat in silence I randomly chose this divination card from The Wisdom of the Elders Oracle deck by Shawn Leonard. It is entitled WINTER and refers to ELDER. The card signifies how "the icy and bitter winds of winter are symbolic of endings."
Winter slows us in our tracks of a normally fast paced lifestyle, perhaps leading us into a feeling of "being stuck."This slower pace gifts us with the opportunity to go inward to gain clarity and wisdom regarding the obstacles we face.
Throughout the world, we see evidence of significant chaos at all levels. This may impact us in negative ways. I choose to remember that tough lessons will end and brighter days will be ahead, just as the new season of Spring brings regeneration and growth.
Just remember "THIS TOO SHALL PASS."
Each one of us still has control over our own thoughts and behaviors. We each have the power to "be the change we wish to see in the world." My wish for each of you is to embrace the hope and positive actions you see in this world and share them with others.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I enjoyed an awesome gift this morning of January 1, 2025 at 11 AM when I was at my Medicine Wheel on my property of Serendipity Meadows. I heard and saw snow geese flying in V formation over my property. They are a winter solstice totem and bring the wise message of flying above chaos, and being open to new possibilities with greater vision both physical and spiritual. So that is my wish for all of you in 2025. One of my teachers, Bill Trivett, always ended his classes by decreeing "Go
and be wonderful!"
I echo that!!!!!

We welcome the season of winter and the other wildlife who visit our property here at Serendipity Meadows. These twin deer visit frequently to munch on their favorite snack of crab apples!
So wonderful to be visited by them and their gentleness.
