I spent this past weekend in a Marma therapy training, and it felt like coming home in a new way ✨

Marma therapy comes from Ayurveda and works with specific energy points in the body—similar to acupressure points in Chinese medicine, but through a different lens.

What I love most is how naturally it integrates into the way I already work.
It gives me another “filter” to listen to the body—supporting the nervous system, releasing held tension, and helping the body settle more deeply.

But it also opened the door to something new that I’m really excited to offer…

✨ Dedicated Marma Therapy Sessions

These sessions are slower, quieter, and more focused on the energetic body.
They work with marma points, breath, and subtle touch to help balance the system—often supporting chakra alignment, grounding, and a deep sense of reset.

This is a beautiful option if you’re feeling:
• overwhelmed or energetically drained
• disconnected from your body
• in need of deep rest without intense physical work
• or simply curious about a more subtle, restorative approach

I’ll be incorporating Marma into my regular sessions, and also offering it as its own standalone experience.

I’m continuing to deepen my work through another lens this week—studying Marma therapy, an Ayurvedic approach to working with energy points in the body.

In some ways, it feels familiar… similar to how I use acupressure through a Chinese medicine perspective—but approached from a different framework, with its own intention and depth.

Last month, I took an acupressure course that honestly felt like coming home.

I’m curious to see how this experience feels… and I’m looking forward to exploring it with the same openness.

What I love about learning this way is that it doesn’t replace what I already do—it expands it.

Each modality becomes another “filter” I can listen through with my hands… helping me meet the body more precisely, more intuitively, and with a deeper level of support.

I’m really looking forward to integrating this into my sessions over time 🤍

I’ll be out of the office this weekend while I’m in class—looking forward to reconnecting when I can.

Some of the women I see are carrying more than anyone realizes.

Holding everything together
showing up for everyone else
pushing through, even when they’re exhausted.

And from the outside… it doesn’t always look like anything is wrong

but the body knows

it shows up as tension
shallow breathing
that constant feeling of being “on”.

You don’t have to keep carrying it all without support 🤍

Sometimes even one hour of slowing down can shift more than you expect.

Lately I’ve been paying attention to what my body is asking for 🤍

Today I had some cancellations, so I’m turning toward myself for a moment and weaving in a little self care.

Flower essences have been a really gentle kind of support…
and good ole ABC juice (apple, beet, carrot and I add fresh ginger) is something I’ve been craving. I stopped at Kimberton because my juicer is still in hibernation lol.

Beets especially—this time of year I always feel drawn to them.
In the spring, it makes sense… wanting to support the liver and get things moving again after a heavier winter.

It’s not about doing everything perfectly—
just listening a little closer.

I see the same thing in sessions too…
once the body feels supported, it naturally starts to soften, release, and reset.

It all starts with something small ✨

You don’t have to wait until it’s really bad 🤍

Most people come in when the tension has already built up…
when their shoulders are tight, their sleep is off, or their body just feels exhausted.

But it doesn’t have to get to that point.

Sometimes the most supportive thing you can do is give your body a moment to reset before you’re completely depleted.

That’s what I try to hold space for in my sessions —
not just relief, but a chance for your system to soften and recalibrate.

If your body has been asking for a pause…
it’s okay to listen 🤍

I just want to say thank you — truly. The support, the referrals, the kind words… it means more than you know.

I’ve been noticing that my schedule has been filling further in advance, so if you’ve been thinking about coming in, I recommend reaching out sooner rather than later.

Most of the people I work with are now booking their next session before they leave, just to make sure they have something reserved.

✨ If your body has been asking for a reset, don’t wait until you’re completely depleted.

I’ll continue to open additional appointments as life allows, and I’m always happy to add you to a waitlist if something opens up sooner.
