New Hope Counseling Center

New Hope Counseling Center Professional, compassionate counseling for individuals, couples, and families—offered in person in Quarryville or online across PA. By appointment only.

Sliding-scale fees and superbills available. Faith-integrated when welcomed. New Hope Counseling Center provides compassionate, professional counseling that brings hope, healing, and restoration. For more than 25 years, our licensed counselors have walked alongside children (ages 6+), adults, couples, and families across South Central Pennsylvania as they navigate anxiety, depression, grief, traum

a, relationship challenges, and life transitions. We believe counseling should be accessible to everyone. We offer in-person and virtual sessions, a sliding-scale fee structure, and never turn anyone away due to financial need. Nearly 70% of those we serve receive reduced-cost counseling through our Hope Chest Fund. The Counseling Center is a core community service of New Hope Community Life Ministry, supported in part by our nonprofit thrift store, the Community Closet, and community partners who make affordable care possible. Grounded in compassion and hope, we also welcome the thoughtful integration of faith when invited, honoring each person’s story, values, and journey toward healing.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

As we reflect this Memorial Day, we also hold space for the families, friends, veterans, and service members who carry both pride and grief in remembrance of those they love.

At New Hope Counseling Center, we are grateful for the courage, sacrifice, and service that have shaped our communities and country. May today be marked by remembrance, gratitude, and hope.

❤️ We wish our community a peaceful and meaningful Memorial Day.

🌿 This Mother’s Day Weekend 🌿

Mother’s Day can bring many emotions.

For some, it is a weekend filled with celebration, gratitude, and connection.
For others, it may carry grief, longing, loss, tension, or quiet ache.

Today, we honor and celebrate mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, foster and adoptive mothers, spiritual mothers, and women who nurture and care for others — in seen and unseen ways — every day. 💛

And to those navigating infertility, miscarriage, child loss, estrangement, complicated relationships, or the pain of unmet hopes — please know your experience matters and your feelings are valid too.

Wherever this weekend finds you, we hope you encounter love, gentleness, support, comfort, and moments of hope along the way. 🕊️

Recently, a client stopped by our counseling center…
just to say thank you.

Over the past year, her life has changed in meaningful ways.

She found stability.
She secured and maintained a job.
She reconnected with family.
She began caring for her health.

For the first time in years… she has hope.

With tears in her eyes, she shared that her life now has new meaning—and that she feels close to the Lord, seeing His work in ways she hadn’t in decades.

Stories like this remind us that counseling is about more than support in a moment—
it’s about walking with someone as healing unfolds over time.

We are deeply grateful to be part of that journey. 💙

And we’re equally grateful for the Hope Chest Fund, which helps make counseling accessible to those who need it most.

🫶 Healing is possible.
🧵 Rooted in HOPE.

Easter is a story of hope—of life emerging where loss once seemed final, and of restoration where brokenness once lived.

We recognize that for many, this season carries a mix of emotions—joy, grief, longing, and everything in between.

At New Hope, we hold space for all of it.

May this Easter weekend be a reminder that healing is possible, that hope can return, and that you are not alone in the journey.

Even in the waiting, hope is still at work!

As we pause at the close of the year, we’re filled with gratitude.

We’re deeply thankful for partners like High Foundation, whose support helped make our building renovation possible—creating safe, welcoming spaces where healing conversations can happen every day.

We’re honored to walk into a new year supported by a community that believes in hope, restoration, and care. Thank you for investing in this work and the people it serves. 💙

As this year comes to a close, we’re pausing—together—in gratitude.

Community is built in quiet ways: showing up, listening well, and walking alongside one another when life feels heavy or uncertain.

Tonight, we’re grateful for every act of care, every prayer, every moment of presence that has shaped this year.

As we look ahead, we do so with hope—not because the work is finished, but because we continue to join God in the work He has already begun and is still unfolding.

Wishing you a gentle close to the year and peace as a new one begins. 💙

The Hope of Christmas
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” – John 1:14 (NIV)

Today we celebrate the wonder of a God who came near – taking on skin, walking our roads, sharing fully in the human story.

Christ with us.
Christ in us.
Christ before us.

And for those who are grieving today: we see you. We see the loss, the longing, the memories stirred by this season. You are not alone. God’s presence is gentle and near.

From all of us at New Hope Community Life Ministry, we wish you a Christmas filled with peace, tenderness, and hope – however quietly or boldly it has arrived!

✨ Merry Christmas ✨
