Members of our healthcare team brought fun and wisdom to the halls of QPRC today by dressing up as famous theologians! Residents enjoyed seeing Martin Luther, Charles Spurgeon, John Knox, and John Calvin. Our chaplain also joined the theologians for a group photo.

We’re grateful to all our team members for their caring hearts, good humor, and dedication to serving our residents.

There was a little Disney magic on our in-house TV program, Good Morning, Quarryville, today! One of our talented team members and a resident brought smiles all around as Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Their cheerful costumes and fun spirit reminded us that joy and friendship are always in style at QPRC!

An Afternoon of Baseball History ⚾️

Residents recently enjoyed a special screening of the documentary “I’ll Knock a Homer for You: The Timeless Story of Johnny Sylvester and Babe Ruth.” The film tells the nostalgic and uplifting true story of a young boy’s unforgettable connection with baseball legend Babe Ruth.

Quarryville was delighted to welcome Andrew Lilley, great-nephew of Johnny Sylvester and producer of the film, who led a Q&A session and shared stories about Babe Ruth, baseball, and his family’s history.

🍂Harvest fun at QPRC!

Despite the cool autumn breeze, about 150 residents bundled up and joined us on the patio yesterday for our annual Harvest Party! Warm cups of hot apple cider, delicious donuts, and mini cupcakes were the perfect treats while enjoying live music from Todd Fulginiti Music and The Cat's Pajama's Jazz Band. Residents also played corn hole, ring toss, and decorated greeting cards for Thanksgiving.

It was a wonderful afternoon of fellowship, fall flavors, and fun — a true celebration of the season at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community!
