Join us for a community conversation on Black hair, identity, and care! We are proud to present "Historical Dignity at the Root," a Black History Month panel discussion examining Black hair as history, identity, and lived experience.

This moderated panel brings together voices from education, healthcare, law, professional spaces, and cosmetology to explore the history, meaning, and lived experiences of Black hair. Topics include identity and access, bedside hair care, workplace discrimination and the CROWN Act, and practical hair care across textures.

All are welcome. Audience engagement is encouraged. Come learn, listen, and be part of the conversation.

⏰ 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
πŸ“ Auditorium (NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens)

! Roses are red, violets are blue, our hearts work nonstop, let’s care for them too! ❀️

This is not only about chocolates and flowers. It is also a perfect moment to pause, breathe, and appreciate our amazing hearts. Small choices such as regular checkups, balanced meals, and staying active help keep our rhythm steady. πŸ«πŸ’πŸ’–

Take a moment today to celebrate our heart and explore the cardiac services available to us. ❀️
