Today we give thanks for our amazing patients, families, and community who make every day special. 💛
Thanksgiving isn’t just about the feast — it’s about gratitude, togetherness, and sharing.

📜 Fun & Historic Facts:
✨ The first Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621 between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Tribe — a three-day harvest festival!
🥧 Pumpkin pie wasn’t on the original menu — but venison, corn, and seafood were!
🤝 In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln made Thanksgiving a national holiday, encouraging unity during difficult times.

🧡 Family Safety Tip:
Keep little ones safe in the kitchen — create a “kid-free zone” around the stove and hot dishes. Burns are more common during the holidays, so let’s cook safely together! 👩‍🍳👶

Today we pause to honor all the brave men and women who have served our country.

🕊️ Did you know? Veterans Day was first called Armistice Day and was established to mark the end of World War I on November 11, 1918. It became Veterans Day in 1954 to recognize all who served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Use today as an opportunity to talk to your children about courage, gratitude, and service. Encourage them to thank a veteran, write a card, or learn about someone in your community who served.

Meet our office pup, Lola the puggle, ready to fetch big smiles in her Halloween best! 🎃🐶 Today, Lola’s putting the “treat” in trick-or-treat as she greets our tiniest superheroes, princesses, and ghouls at Advanced Pediatrics PC. From wagging tails to giggling patients, we believe Halloween at the doctor’s office should be full of friendly fun and comfort—because who says only kids get to dress up? Wishing our amazing Queens community a safe, spook-tacular Halloween filled with laughter, good health, and maybe a little extra belly-rubbing for our furry mascot! 👻🩺🍬

New York City is turning into a safe, car-free Halloween wonderland! 🧡 From October 17 – 31, the NYC Department of Transportation’s “Trick-or-Streets” event will feature pedestrian-only streets, festive games, music, arts & crafts, and tons of family-friendly fun!
