We envisioned this as only a dream 16 years ago, and now we are experiencing the reality!! We are exceptionally fortunate and blessed to have been able to provide our son with the capability to drive without adaptation, made possible by limb lengthening surgeries he underwent over the last decade, together with the generosity of many supporters …… Achondroplasia - dwarfism is associated with severe reach limitations and a multitude of other health and bone-related issues. .. We are deeply grateful for our blessings!💜

Last night’s reading of xrays allowed him to walk unassisted after a 9 week recovery from a complete break at the distal femur to realign the knee on the right leg…

This was his first major achievement since putting 2 feet on the ground … Only a parent knows this feeling … the last of 4 children to get a drivers permit … NO ADAPTION to drive a car was only a dream 16 yrs ago …

when we ventured out on this path 10 yrs ago to accomplish height to be independently able, we couldn’t imagine THIS … I never felt my heart, so overwhelmed with joy and happiness for HIM …

It has been one long sacrificial journey, and I am proud of him for pushing through it because lord knows it “wasn’t” easy … he wants a Tesla just like Dr. Paley … if I know his determination, he will get his heart’s desire… we love you Kory💜
