What a great weekend!

First and foremost, we hope all of you amazing Moms had a nice, relaxing Mother's Day!

Saturday, we celebrated with our partners at Local 7 Plumbers & Steamfitters as they announced their 2025-2026 Apprenticeship Graduates.

This past Friday evening, we celebrated the graduation of our own eight new Brothers & Sisters of UA Local 773: Eric Bowers, Dave Duffany, Tyler Jarvis, Morgan Ogden, Crystal Sanders, Jesse Ettinger, Devin Woodruff, and Kevin Randall.

The 2025-2026 Apprentice of the Year was awarded to Sister Crystal Sanders!

Master of Ceremony, Mike Jarvis delivered an upbeat speech with the right touch of humor.

We were joined by our New York State and Regional Government leaders, partners in the trades, and several other notable leaders in the regional business community who are proud to support Local 773 and our Apprentices.

Special thanks go to Training Coordinator, Jake Ringer; Union Office & Training Administrator, Alexis Flewelling for organizing the event; and all of our training leads, and industry partners such as Milwaukee Tool who are all instrumental in ensuring our Apprenticeship Program is a success.

Building Trades Apprentices are indentured into a 5-year NYS Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Training Program with a required 9,000 hours of on-the-job learning under the supervision of a Journey Worker and over 1,200 hours of related instruction (classroom) work, which covers the installation of commercial and industrial piping process systems, with welding certifications playing a big part in the education process, before they qualify for advancement to a Building Trades Journey Worker.
