I've been getting more requests for information about Safe and Sound Protocol, so I thought I would share a brief overview. SSP is an intervention used to help regulate the autonomic nervous system. By listening to specifically filtered music that targets the middle ear, SSP activates the vagus nerve and helps regulate the autonomic nervous system over time. I am a certified SSP provider. SSP can be provided in person or virtually, and some people are able to complete the program independently. The cost of SSP covers an initial assessment, listening plan, 12 months access to the SSP app, and professional guidance through the process. I am offering Safe and Sound Protocol at a reduced rate for the month of June! $150 base rate for qualifying individuals, and your subscription will last 12 months. So far, I have had great results, and my clients and friends have noticed improvements with their nervous system regulation by using SSP. Some of my own improvements have been: Significant improvements with anxiety, improved confidence, improved mood, I notice myself singing and whistling :), I have more control of my eating habits (not stress eating) and have lost 6lbs just from being more regulated and having more control of food. Clients and friends have noted similar improvements, but also have reported improved digestion and better sleep quality! The way we support our loved ones through a stressful experience is so important. The following gives a guideline on how to support our loved ones through a difficult experience. Responding to someone’s stress from your own stressful state does much more harm than good. Gain control of yourself first. Be compassionate, choose your words wisely, and help them regulate. Being stress-reactive to a loved ones stress can have significant negative consequences. Think about how you respond to an experience that your child shares with you, your partner, spouse, friend, etc.
