Transitions kicked off Child Abuse Prevention Month with Transitions’ staff, Board members, social service partners, and law enforcement in attendance. Mayor Linda Moore attended and proclaimed April as Child Abuse Prevention Month in the city of Quincy. Transitions reminds you that each of us can do something to assist families who are struggling and can value and support a child. Visit our page during the month for parenting tips and information about child abuse and neglect.

Transitions congratulates and thanks Sheri King, owner of The Right Touch Florals for her award winning floral piece that won the “People’s Choice” Award at the United Way of Adams County, Inc. (Adams County, IL) “Curiosity in Bloom” event at the Arts Quincy: America's First Arts Council.
