After more than 80 years, Pvt. Alfred Thomas Langevin, U.S. Army , a Weymouth native killed in action during World War II, is finally coming home. 🇺🇸
Pvt. Langevin will lie in honor at Weymouth Town Hall on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 12–3 PM, and all are welcome to pay their respects.
On Monday, November 10, 2025, Pvt. Langevin will be escorted from McDonald Keohane Funeral Home in South Weymouth to Fairmount Cemetery, with a procession through the streets of Weymouth, including a final pass through Jackson Square, where he was born and raised. A graveside service with full military honors will follow at 11 AM.
Keohane is honored to serve Pvt. Langevin’s family in his homecoming and will be donating flags to local schools and community members to wave in tribute along the route.
We invite our community to come together in remembrance and gratitude as we welcome Pvt. Langevin home this Veterans Day season.
