Students in the Art of Nursing course explored the beauty of cultural art by learning about the rich history and significance of henna. They even had the opportunity to experience it firsthand with henna tattoos!

Today, Kristen Soebbing, RN, Abby Rose, RD, and Jennifer Holcomb, APRN, FNP, spoke with senior nursing students and members of the Pi Pi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau on Bariatric Patient Care.

Staff from the Blessing Bariatric Institute shared valuable insights on what nurses need to know when caring for patients undergoing medical and surgical weight loss treatments. Students learned about the various medications used, different surgical procedures available, and how to provide effective post-treatment care.

Blessing Nurses' Alumni Association is accepting nominations for the prestigious BNAA Nurse of the Year Award. Each year, this esteemed accolade celebrates a nurse who embodies the qualities of excellence in the nursing profession.
