I love keeping my classes to 12, but when there’s a holiday or a bunch of clients out sick or dealing with scheduling conflicts, and they ask to make up a session, it’s hard for me to say no. I mean, how can I turn down someone who wants to work out? ❤️💪😊

This particular group ended up being a bit larger due to the Memorial Day weekend and a handful of makeup requests that all lined up. But it was lovely - they all fit, they all worked extra hard, and they all had big smiles. It honestly felt like a special birthday treat since it was the day before my birthday!

I still prefer to keep classes small so I can give close attention to form, but every once in a while, a few extra faces is totally fine, especially since most of my clients have been with me a while and their form continues to improve beautifully.

Daily Dozen goals, captured to perfection!

This gorgeous plate was snapped by Carlie, my longtime strength client, Eagle Eye Yoga instructor, and our in-house whole health educator at LivFitness & Eagle Eye Yoga.

She sent it to me this morning with the caption:

And honestly? It looks like it belongs in a magazine.

9 years ago last month, we started renovating the studio  and what a journey it’s been!

Thank you to everyone who was there with me that day and to everyone who’s walked through these doors since. The studio has grown into more than I ever imagined. Over the years, my strength coaching evolved, we added mobility and cardio classes, and even built a full yoga studio Eagle Eye Yoga with amazing instructors.

What I’m most proud of is the community we’ve created - welcoming, supportive, and real.

When these pictures popped up in my memories, they brought back so many beautiful moments. Whether you’re still with us or have moved on, you’re always a part of this space and always welcome back.

My passion is teaching strength training because it’s the foundation for longevity, resilience, and real freedom in movement. Strength isn’t just about lifting weights, it’s about maintaining mobility, preventing injury, and moving through life with confidence.

I believe in the synergy of strength and yoga. Once I was able to add yoga to the studio and bring on trainers, I was eager to have yoga instructors who also strength trained. These instructors don’t just teach movement, hey live it.
I love that my instructors strength train because it makes them stronger, more resilient, and more connected to their own bodies. That firsthand experience translates into how they guide others, whether on the mat or in daily life.

This photo was taken after a strength class that all of our instructors took together! I love the post-strength glow, pink cheeks, and that feeling of yes, we did that! It’s amazing to see them grow in their own practice while bringing that knowledge and energy back to their students. 🦅🧘‍♀️🌿
