We are a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and deemed under the Federal Tort Claim It was founded in 1979.

Manet Community Health Center is a not-for-profit health care provider with a mission to ensure quality, comprehensive health care for all. Today, it serves the broad health needs of South Shore residents. Manet has been accredited by The Joint Commission since 1999, demonstrating it meets the highest standards of quality, and Manet’s Diabetes Program has been accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators since 2011. Manet’s Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program for substance use disorders helps support a patient’s whole health and overall well-being. Today is World Sight Day! Proper eye care is vital to prevent vision loss and chronic eye diseases.
Manet’s Vision Center provides comprehensive eye exams (age 4+); Diabetic eye exams with retinal photography; Glaucoma testing; Evaluation and treatment of minor eye injuries and infections; Contact lens fittings, and more! Saturday and evening appointments are available.
