Cabbage comes in a variety of shapes and colors, including red, purple, white and green, and its leaves can be either crinkled or smooth. Cabbage has been grown around the world for thousands of years and can be found in a variety of recipes from sauerkraut, kimchi to coleslaw!
Cabbage is a great source of dietary fiber, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. It also contain various vitamins like vitamin C, thiamine, niacin, and folate. Cabbage is also high in antioxidants including flavonoids, zeaxanthin, lutein, choline, and beta-carotene.
