Great care is built on trust, consistency and people who truly show up.

Patients tell us they value working with Angela Henderson, who helps make scheduling easy and follows up every time there is a change. Knowing someone is paying attention and keeping them informed makes a real difference.

They also share high praise for Deandra Rangel, LCSW, describing her as knowledgeable, compassionate and someone they truly trust with their care. From a welcoming front desk to a clean, comfortable space and appointment times that work for patients’ schedules, these details matter.

Feedback like this reminds us how much thoughtful, reliable care impacts the patient experience, and how grateful we are for the team members who make it happen every day.

Feeling safe matters, especially when you are sharing personal parts of your life.

“Sarah is great! She creates a safe place to talk openly without fear of judgment.”

Sarah Bockhold, licensed clinical social worker at SIU Quincy, chose social work to support people as whole individuals, mind, body and life experience included. She is driven by walking alongside patients as they identify goals and make meaningful changes, supported by a collaborative care team focused on thoughtful, coordinated care.

Creating a space where patients feel heard, respected and supported is at the heart of Sarah’s work. That foundation helps patients show up honestly and begin the work of healing.

If you are established with an SIU primary care provider and feel you may benefit from mental health support, talk to your doctor about next steps and booking an appointment.
