Wesley House is excited to announce we will be hosting a complimentary lunch with our friends Reflections Hospice Of Texas and Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations for ALL first responders, on or off duty, in honor of Patriots’ Day 🇺🇸

We will be serving a delicious home cooked meal in a come and go setting, with the option to sit and enjoy your meal or take it on the go!

Any first responder who stops by will have the option to enter into door prize giveaways graciously donated by Pivot Nutrition, Keener’s Lawn And Landscape and more!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Guy Pace on August 1, 2025, in Quitman, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM to 2:00PM.

Join us tomorrow for our final Sizzling Seniors water aerobics/yoga Quitman City Pool by Dani with lightworker_ranch

We have been blessed to work with Wesley House Quitman, Rock Solid Fitness and Dani, we cannot be more grateful for our community who took part of this. Thank you to the Quitman Pool and City of Quitman who helped us with the facility and allowed us to add more dates mid summer.

Johnny Glen Gilliland passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 86 at his home in Quitman, Texas surrounded by family.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations with Pastor Michael Mize and Pastor Byron George officiating. Graveside service will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations.

Sometimes, a simple hug says more than words ever could. 🤍

Today, on “Share a Hug” Day, take a moment to pause and give someone you love a warm hug. You would be surprised how one small action can make someone else’s day that much brighter.

Plus, life moves fast, and schedules get busy, so it’s a great reminder of the power of connection and the importance of taking time to express how much someone means to you. If you think about it, every day should be 'Share a Hug Day'!

Carl James Brinkmeyer, of Yantis, Texas, passed away at his home on July 27, 2025, at the age of 82.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations. Graveside service will follow at Quitman City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday evening, August 1, 2025 at the funeral home.

Another wonderful and successful day at the Sizzling Seniors Water Yoga/Aerobics with Dani with lightworker_ranch

We had 38 attendees and a surprise visitor that escaped a yard nearby! He was really curious about joining (don’t worry, we found his humans promptly)

At the age of 49, on Sunday, July 13, 2025 in Tyler, Texas, Christopher Robert Blackwell breathed his last breath and ascended into the Heavenly Realm with Jesus leading him home to a place of unconditional love and overwhelming peace.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Murray-Orwosky Funerals & Cremations in Sulphur Springs, under the direction of Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations.
