November 1 is NATIONAL FAMILY LITERACY DAY! Read a book to someone and bring a book to our tuesday meeting for our SMALL LIBRARIES. Celebrate DAR's commitment to Literacy Promotion.

Carol Taylor, Regent and Linda Holloway. Treasurer at Fall Forum 2020. 375 women showed up for the weekend of workshops and budget review. Great to be back together ahain. With masks and distancing. Our basket was great and Linda won the Sunbury Basket.

For the DAR NATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE. The Hannah Clarke Chapter packed boxes of requested items for patients at the VA Hospital. We will continue doing this throughout our year. Our next meeting will be October 6th at the Brooks County Museum and Cultural Center Camellia Room at 3 pm. We will be preparing our Workshop Basket and outlining our seasonal events. Looking forward to seeing you.

Later we attended a seminar from Melody Porter Regent of The Thomasville Chapter on using the census information to gather lots of details both from what is there and what is not. Thank you to the Moultrie-John Benning Chapter of the DAR.
