We have been blessed to work with Wesley House Quitman, Rock Solid Fitness and Dani, we cannot be more grateful for our community who took part of this. Thank you to the Quitman Pool and City of Quitman who helped us with the facility and allowed us to add more dates mid summer.

🧘‍♀️ Free Senior water aerobics – Supporting Mind, Body & Spirit 🕊️

At Lowe Gardner Funerals & Cremations, we believe in honoring life at every stage. That’s why we partnered with the Wesley House Assisted Living, Rock Solid Fitness and Dani Whale Tail. We want you to stay active and social so we decided to offer free water aerobics/yoga classes for senior citizens.

Can’t make this one? No worries! We have more dates to announce later so keep following our page for announcements.

We are so proud to get the opportunity to service our Veteran community ❤️🇺🇸

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Veterans' Breakfast Volunteers!

At our last City Council meeting, Mayor Dunn presented the Mayor’s Certificate of Achievement to several volunteers!

The certificate read as follows:

“In recognition of your outstanding dedication and service to our community, I, Randy Dunn, Mayor of Quitman, Texas, hereby express our sincere gratitude for your selfless volunteerism in helping support the monthly Veterans' Breakfast at the First United Methodist Church of Quitman.

Your commitment to honoring our Wood County Veterans, their spouses, and caregivers through this monthly gathering demonstrates the true spirit of community service. Your efforts provide a valuable opportunity for fellowship, support, and appreciation for those who have served our nation.

On behalf of the City of Quitman and its residents, we commend your exemplary leadership and tireless dedication to improving the lives of our local heroes. Thank you for all that you do!
