We’re so proud to introduce you to Stacie, one of the compassionate hearts behind the care we provide at Aspen Hospice and Palliative Care of East Texas.

Stacie joined our team with a deep calling to support patients and families during some of life’s most sacred and vulnerable moments. She brings years of experience and a genuine passion for hospice care, along with a calm, comfort, and a steady presence to every home she enters.
What sets Stacie apart? It's the little things — sitting an extra few minutes to hold a hand, listening with intention, or being a reassuring voice at just the right time. 💜

A little about our amazing nurse,
I have been married to my husband for 8 years and we have 4 beautiful girls! I’ve been a paramedic since 2017 and a nurse since 2023. I love spending time with my family and when I’m not doing that, I’m either at a Rangers baseball game or playing softball myself. I have a passion for helping people and I love being able to do that through my job!

Please join us in giving Stacie a warm welcome and a heartfelt thank you for the incredible work she does each day!

🎥 Ribbon Cut. Hearts Full. Mission On. ✂️💛

We could try to find the words to describe what ribbon cutting night meant to us…
But honestly? This video does a better job.
It wasn’t just a celebration—it was a moment. A moment where community met purpose, and Quitman showed us exactly why we planted our roots here.
Thank you to every single person who showed up, cheered us on, flipped a burger, hugged our necks, and reminded us why we do what we do.
Aspen Hospice isn’t just a company—it’s a calling. And that night? Y’all answered it right back.
This is the beginning of something bold. Something real. Something beautiful.
With full hearts and big plans,
— Lindsey and Kayla

To the Quitman Chamber of Commerce, Gardner Funeral Home, Mineola Sign Mart, Sugar & Sprinkles, and the Wood County Farm Bureau — your support and generosity helped bring our vision to life.
To our Aspen Leadership team — thank you for your trust, encouragement, and the passion you bring every day. You inspire us to keep going.
And to our families, friends, and community — your constant love, encouragement, and belief in us are what truly keep us grounded and motivated. This night was for you, and because of you.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. 💙

We’re so excited to introduce Mrs. Shelley Chance! Shelley brings warmth, compassion, and a calming presence to the families we serve, offering spiritual and emotional support through life’s most meaningful moments.
Whether it’s sharing a prayer, listening with an open heart, or simply being there when words fall short, Shelley is here to support people from all walks of life—no matter their faith or background.

A few things about Shelley,
I am married to Tod Chance and retired from Quitman High School where I taught Spanish. I am presently attending Dallas Theological Seminary where I am studying to get my Masters Degree in Chaplaincy. I love to travel, garden, read and spend time with my grandson West.
