Our full service optical shop has a large selection of eyeglass frames and sunglasses for the whole family. Our opticians will be happy to assist in you in selecting the right eyewear to fit your needs with most glasses made on-site. We have a wide variety frames from economy to designer frames including Versace, Coach, Ray Ban, and Ralph Lauren Polo. The latest in digital progressive lenses and lens treatments are available. No appointment is required for eye glass adjustments or repairs. Cochran, OD has been practicing optometry in Quitman, Mississippi since 1980. He attended Meridian Community College and Mississippi College and graduated with honors. He graduated Southern College of Optometry with honors and was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa and Sigma Alpha Sigma Honor Societies. He is board certified and a current diplomat in good standing with the American Board of Optometry. He served as past president and is current member of the Mississippi Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. He has served on the Mississippi State Board of Optometry and on various Mississippi Optometric Association committees. David Michael Holifield, Jr., OD started practicing at the Eye Clinic of Quitman in June of 2010. He attended Mississippi College for his Bachelor of Science and graduated with honors. He attended Southern College of Optometry, where he graduated with honors and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. He is certified to practice optometry by the National Board of Examiners and the Mississippi State Board of Optometry. He is a member in good standing of the Mississippi Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Optical Technician Position Available

We are seeking an experienced optical technician for a well established optometry clinic with a full-service optical shop in Quitman, Mississippi.

Candidates considered must:

-have knowledge of lens types and frame products
-have experience fitting, dispensing, and repairing eye wear
-have lens inspection and verification experience
-have exceptional customer service skills and telephone etiquette
-be able to work in a fast-paced optical environment
-be able to adapt quickly, be organized, and multitask
-be personable and friendly with patients and staff

Compensation commensurate with experience. References required.
