Olive turned 1 month old on the 11th 🤷🏻‍♀️ We are so in love with her and she is fitting into our family like she's been here forever. She is so snuggly which we are soaking up as we know it goes by so quick! Our hearts are so full and we are so thankful.

Sorry to keep you all hanging with pictures, it has been a whirlwind! I'll share more of her birth story in the coming days but we are both doing well. Olive's blood sugars have been a little low so we are having to supplement with donor breastmilk with her feedings. We are doing that while she is at my breast and giving her a syringe of donor milk while she is feeding from me. It's been working out okay so far and her sugars have remained within range. We are really hoping to go home tomorrow 🤞🤞. An incredibly sweet part of Olive's birth story and our recovery is that my dear friend, Libby, was able to be with us for her birth and Libby took care of us for our recovery after Olive arrived. Libby and I have been friends since high school and she is one of the biggest reasons my girls are here today. She was our fertility nurse and a wealth of knowledge as we walked this road of IVF. I cannot tell you how much she means to me and how thankful I am she was with us for Olive's arrival!

We are over the moon and will share pictures soon! She had a great first breastfeed and now is cuddling with her dad. Thank you for following our journey to Baby Kroll #2! We are so thankful for God's kindness and provision in bringing this sweet girl into our lives!

Olive update!
Still waiting! 😫 I got an epidural in a little after midnight and was able to sleep some. Not super happy with the anesthesiologist who refused to let me have a lower dose on the epidural so that I could have more feeling in my legs so will be trying to advocate for myself with the next anesthesiologist on call. Olive just seems cozy in there but we know her birthday will be today! Come on, baby girl, we can't wait to meet you!

Olive update!
Pitocin was started a couple hours ago with contractions starting shortly after. Contractions have been a bit uncomfortable but not terrible. We were going to do a Foley bulb to help dilate, but when Dr. Hanna went to do it, she said I was 3 cm and she could break my water so we went that route. Pitocin is now restarted and we will continue to look forward to Olive's arrival!
