EKG Concepts was founded by Gary Krause, RN, with 32 years of experience in Emergency Medicine and a specialty in EKG training. In 2010, with a simple goal in mind, he developed new tools to help anyone in the medical field, from novice to expert, accurately, rapidly, and safely interpret EKG Rhythms. After developing the first set of the R-CAT (Rapid Cardiac Assessment Tool) products, EKG Concepts developed a whole line of EKG Interpretation tools and resource guides designed to help with basic education and the mastery of EKG Interpretation. Our most popular tool is the R-CAT EKG Badge and the R-CAT Window.
10 Years later, EKG Concept’s assortment of patented high-quality tools and learning resources have helped hundreds of thousands of medical personnel worldwide to accurately and confidently interpret EKGs in a wide array of clinical settings. Each year we’ve worked on updating and enhancing our existing line of tools and guides with new content. Our latest product, the R-CAT EKG Workbook Series 1, results from over two years of work acquiring and assembling 120 individual high-definition scaled EKG Exercise cases presented in both print and digital formats. The digital course allows you to view all 120 EKGs moving in real-time how you would see them on a monitor in the clinical setting. EKG Concepts utilizes this
dynamic teaching concept to help new generations of students and EKG instructors expand into non-traditional formats for learning and building Confidence and Competence in EKG Interpretation.
