What an afternoon filled with dancing, refreshments, great music, and even better company.

Residents and associates alike dressed in their finest with elegant outfits, hair, and makeup that made the event feel truly special. 🪩🕺

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers and the students from Radford University for bringing such great energy to the celebration.

We’re also incredibly grateful to our generous local sponsors for providing formal wear, crowns, gifts, and custom handkerchiefs that made it possible to crown two Prom Kings and two Prom Queens

Blacksburg Master Chorale musicians, from the Vox Harmonia ensemble dazzled us with their talent! 🎤 🤩

Their program included choral music, guitar and clarinet, traditional folktales, and Irish poetry.

We especially enjoyed their beautiful rendition of the traditional song, "Danny Boy." Thank you for bringing this special morning of to our community!

Gilda has been busy laying her famous golden eggs all around the community - and rumor has it they're filled with chocolate.

Keep your eyes peeled... you never know where Gilda (or her sweet surprises) might pop up next! 👀

What a memorable evening at our April Spring Fling earlier this month! 💐🌱

Our Dining Services team prepared a delicious, seasonal meal that set the tone for a night full of connection, laughter, and great company. But the real showstopper came after dinner...

A huge shoutout to our talented Assisted Living resident, Sarah, who is turning her creativity into a wonderful new tradition. She wrote and directed a short associate performance that had everyone smiling. 🎭

This month's entertainment featured a lively spring musical r***e, complete with classic sing-along favorites like "Singin' in the Rain." ☔

We can't wait to see what she creates next!

Thank you to the Radford University Pipes and Drums ensemble who performed at at , under the direction of Dr. Geoffrey Pollick! 🥁

Afterwards the group came inside to teach everyone about the history of Great Highland Bagpipe and Scottish drums traditions that stem from the Scots-Irish culture in the Appalachian region.

We were especially proud to see one of the freshman drummers, who is a great-grandson of one of our residents. What a great experience to hear this unique masterpiece up close. 🎵👏

Rural King is a resident favorite between the vintage candy, spring flowers, and animals! 🤩

This time, the baby chicks were out and ready for snuggles. 🐥

A big thanks to the amazing Rural King team who welcomed our group, helped all those in wheelchairs get to see the animals up close, and even gave us these cute stuffed chicks!

Our Assisted Living Resident Ambassadors suggested forming a “Welcome Wagon” committee to help new residents feel at home , and we were excited to make that vision come to life! 🏠 🛍️

After discussing with the Resident Council, they chose which items to provide in the swag bags that would help their new neighbors the most.

We're so grateful to our wonderful residents who truly make us a ! ✨

We embarked on a relaxing outing at the The New River Vineyard & Winery LLC tasting wines, snacking on charcuterie, and enjoying the beautiful view of Radford.

What a great way to spend a Friday afternoon. We are looking forward to going back for live music soon! 🎷🎸

We're still thinking about Easter weekend and all the visitors who stopped by to celebrate with us! 🐇💫

From special church services to VFW Auxiliary - Post 776 to the famous Easter Bunny, aka our Executive Director, Melinda, there were so many laughs, smiles, and love in the air.

There was even stained glass windows being made! Our residents loved reminiscing on their own holiday traditions while of course enjoying their favorite sweets! 🍬

Our talented Dining Services Director, Brandon, is stepping into the company‑wide competition with a bold and beautifully crafted dish rooted in classic French cuisine. 😋

Brandon presented a traditional French Bouillabaisse, elevated with a special squid ink tuile, showcasing a timeless technique with modern flair.

We’re incredibly proud to see Brandon represent our community with such creativity, skill, and passion for the craft.
