A friend sent me an article about how to make the perfect cup of cappuccino. It covered all the usual things, like picking the right beans and getting the water temperature just right. But at the end of the article, there was a surprise: they suggested taking the cup and swirling it one time. That [...

Rise & Whine #313: The Bakery Situation

When a customer in a store Dr. Dave was walking through wanted to complain about the bakery, she didn't take his response that he didn't work there for an answer! The incident reminded Dr. Dave of how we sometimes are in a position to help others, even if that's not our role.

Sometimes, the best way to clear your mind is by taking a drive with no destination in mind. In this week's blog post, I reflect on the power of solo drives as a space for problem-solving, reflection, and mental clarity.

https://www.weimanconsulting.com/2025/08/taking-a-drive/

There was a recent article in The Washington Post about a very popular social media influencer who does food reviews from his car, as many popular food reviewers do. The writer talked about how that style of filming makes things feel personal because a car is such an intimate space. For me, what’s...

Rise & Whine #312: A "Puncher's Chance"

Ever wondered how much you have changed since the last time you read your favorite book? I recently re-read J.D. Salinger’s Franny and Zooey and it stood out to me how our own life experiences can completely transform the way we see a familiar story.
Haven’t revisited a book you love? Now might be the perfect time!

Check out the blog post here:

There was a book on my bookshelf at home, J.D. Salinger’s wonderful book Franny and Zooey, that I probably hadn’t read since college. I decided to read it again, and it’s amazing how my own life experiences have changed—making reading the book feel so different. I’m reminded of the saying,...

One of the most frequent questions we get is, "How long is a typical coaching engagement?"

Our answer: It depends on the needs of the client.

A complete program is typically 6 months, following an assessment and feedback. However, we work with many clients "as needed." Much like you might call on an attorney or financial advisor, you call us when you need us. And when you do, we're ready to help.

Ever feel like life is giving you signs, but you're not sure where they lead?

In the blog post below, I share a personal story about a simple sign in a restaurant and how it relates to the signs we see in our relationships and work. Sometimes, paying attention to those early signs can help us make better decisions before things get off track!
