I LOVE working with tuning forks & solfeggio frequencies!!!

These add a nice frequency healing element to any massage!

The music I have playing during your session? Solfeggio frequency music… usually on 528 hz which is the miracle tone, it helps with DNA repair and is also the frequency for unconditional love 💗 (this can be adjusted to your specific needs per request)

Tuning forks can be added on to any massage for just $20!
(I’m currently in process of designing more offerings to include a wider range of tuning fork applications both on the body and sound healing so stay tuned for more updates!) 🥰

There comes a moment, when you work closely with sound and vibration long enough, that the idea of “frequency healing” stops being an abstract concept and becomes something deeply tangible.

I have felt it in my own body, and I have watched it unfold in others.

The first thing people often notice when sound is applied intentionally—whether through tuning forks, instruments, or carefully directed vibration—is not something dramatic or mystical. It is usually a shift in coherence. Breathing slows. Muscles soften. The nervous system begins to move out of its defensive posture.

You can feel the body listening.

When a clear tone enters the field of the body, it does not simply travel through the ears. Sound moves through the bones, through the fluids, through the tissues. The human body is largely water, and water conducts vibration remarkably well. When the tone is steady and well tuned, the body often begins to synchronize with it. Tension patterns that were held unconsciously begin to unwind.

Receiving this kind of work can feel surprisingly physical. Sometimes it is warmth moving through an area that had felt stagnant. Sometimes it is a gentle pulsing sensation as circulation increases. Other times it manifests as emotional release, as the nervous system lets go of patterns it has been holding for years.

Administering the work brings its own revelations.

When you place a resonant instrument near the body and allow it to sing, you can feel when the tone enters an area that is already balanced. The sound moves smoothly, almost effortlessly. But when the vibration meets an area of congestion or strain, something different happens. The tone can wobble, scatter, or dampen. It is almost as if the body is speaking back through the instrument.

With patience, as the vibration continues, that resistance often begins to change. The tone stabilizes. The body absorbs the sound more evenly. What was once rigid becomes fluid again.

Over time you begin to realize that the body is not just a biochemical machine. It behaves more like an orchestra of oscillations. The heart keeps rhythm. The brain produces waves of electrical activity. Cells communicate through subtle electromagnetic exchanges. Every system has its own tempo.

Health appears when these rhythms cooperate.

When they fall out of harmony, the body becomes tense, chaotic, and inefficient. Sound and vibration can act like a tuning reference, gently reminding the system of a more coherent pattern.

The experience leaves a lasting impression on anyone who spends time with it.

It teaches humility. The practitioner does not force healing. The body already knows how to restore balance. The role of vibration is simply to provide a clear signal, something the organism can entrain to.

When that happens, the shift can be remarkable.

The future of medicine may still be written largely in the language of chemistry and pharmaceuticals, but there is another dimension quietly emerging alongside it—one that works through rhythm, resonance, and the profound sensitivity of living systems to vibration.

Those who have felt it directly know something that is difficult to fully capture in words:

The body remembers harmony.
Sometimes it only needs the right note to find its way back.

✨This is why I incorporate a foot soak in my signature massage! ⬇️🥰

(And Now any massage with a foot soak will also include robe service and heated neck & shoulder wrap! 🫠🤩)

There is something beautifully ancient about the act of soaking the feet.

Before wellness became an industry, people instinctively understood that tending to the feet had a powerful influence on the entire body. Across cultures and centuries, a simple basin of warm water was used to restore the weary traveler, comfort the sick, calm the mind before sleep, and prepare the body for rest. It was medicine at its most humble.

And while the ritual may feel simple, the physiology behind it is surprisingly elegant.

The feet are extraordinary sensory structures. Each foot contains more than 7,000 nerve endings, dense networks of blood vessels, and complex fascial connections that travel upward through the calves, hamstrings, pelvis, and spine. When the feet are immersed in warm water, several systems in the body begin responding almost immediately.

The first response is vascular. Warm water causes the blood vessels in the feet to vasodilate, or widen. This allows more blood to circulate through the lower extremities, improving oxygen delivery to tissues and helping move metabolic waste products out of fatigued muscles. Increased circulation in the feet also influences overall circulatory dynamics, encouraging a gentle redistribution of blood flow throughout the body.

The nervous system responds just as quickly.

The warm temperature and sustained skin stimulation activate mechanoreceptors and thermoreceptors in the feet. These signals travel through the peripheral nervous system to the brain, where they help shift the body away from sympathetic “fight or flight” activity and toward parasympathetic regulation, the state associated with rest, digestion, tissue repair, and emotional calm.

This is why people often notice their breathing deepen and their shoulders drop within minutes of a foot soak. The nervous system is receiving a steady message of safety.

Then there is the role of the minerals themselves.

Magnesium salts, particularly magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) or magnesium chloride flakes, are commonly used in therapeutic soaks because magnesium is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the body. It contributes to muscle relaxation, nerve conduction, and cellular energy production.

While the skin is not the large absorption gateway many people once believed it to be, it is still an active physiological interface. Warm water hydrates the outer skin layers and temporarily increases permeability. Some studies suggest small amounts of minerals may be absorbed transdermally, but even beyond absorption, magnesium-rich water helps relax muscle tissue and soothe irritated nerve endings through local effects on the skin and underlying tissues.

Dead Sea salts contribute additional minerals such as potassium, calcium, bromide, and zinc, which support skin barrier function and reduce inflammation. Baking soda helps soften keratin in the skin, making the feet feel smoother and more comfortable, and also helps neutralize pH.

Then there is the fascial response.

Fascia is a water-loving tissue. When warmth and hydration are introduced to the body, fascial layers can become more pliable and receptive to movement and touch. Soaking the feet before massage or bodywork often allows therapists to access deeper relaxation in the fascial system more quickly.

But perhaps one of the most overlooked aspects of a foot soak is something far simpler.

It slows us down.

When the feet are immersed in warm water, the body naturally pauses. The nervous system receives sustained, predictable sensory input. Breathing becomes steadier, muscles soften without effort, and the body begins shifting from a state of doing into a state of being.

This is why something as humble as a foot soak has endured through centuries of wellness traditions. Not because it is elaborate or expensive, but because it works with the body’s natural design.

Warmth improves circulation.
Minerals support tissue function.
Sensory input calms the nervous system.
And stillness allows the body to reorganize itself.

Sometimes the most powerful therapies are not the most complex. Sometimes they begin with warm water, a handful of minerals from the earth, and the quiet intelligence of the body.

✨ Reintroduction – Melt Body Therapies ✨

Hi, I’m Saralyn 🤍

Founder of Melt Body Therapies — a sanctuary devoted to multidimensional healing for the body, mind, and spirit.

As a proud 3rd generation Raeford native, it is deeply meaningful to build this work in the very community that raised me. My roots run deep here — and so does my commitment to serving with integrity, skill, and heart.

I have 22 years of experience as a Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist (LMBT #4422), graduating from Sandhills Community College in 2003. I spent much of my career working in upscale spas serving clients in Fayetteville and Southern Pines before bringing my business home to Raeford.

My training and certifications include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Prenatal, Hot Stone, Myofascial Release, Cupping, Acupressure, Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage (including post-op), Lypossage Body Contouring (Certified Lypotherapist), spa & body treatments, vibroacoustic therapy using tuning forks, and Usui Reiki I, II, & Master level certification.

Over the years I’ve been honored with:
• Best Massage Therapist – Fayetteville Reader’s Choice award (2009)
• Best Massage Therapist – Fayetteville Observer “Up & Coming Weekly” (2012 & 2013)
• Nomination for Best Massage Therapist – Best of the Pines (2018)

I specialize in deeply relaxing therapeutic massage focused on stress relief, nervous system regulation, and pain management.

My philosophy is simple: healing does not have to be forced.

Through a “less is more” approach focused on providing deep relaxation and nervous system regulation — I help the body shift out of survival mode. When the body is fully relaxed and the mind drops into deeper states of consciousness, particularly the theta brainwave state, the body begins to heal itself.

I am not fixing you.
I am facilitating the conditions for your body to restore naturally.

Because healing is multidimensional.

Integrating positive touch therapy, with intention, breathwork, energy healing, high vibrational music, and high frequency enhancents provide a well rounded experience to help you shift into a state of healing.

Touch carries information. Sound carries information. Intention carries information. Every session at Melt is designed to support alignment of the body, mind, and spirit — not just release a tight muscle.

I am currently pursuing advanced continuing education through a Master Energy Healer Certification Program through the Pleiadian Institute, expanding my studies in integrative energy healing, crystal healing, DNA activations & attunements, intuitive spiritual healing, and advanced Reiki (completed). These tools will continue to deepen the multidimensional experiences I curate within my practice.

One of my favorite parts of owning Melt is designing niche, integrative services — blending clinical expertise with creative, frequency-based modalities to create something truly unique.

Melt was born from personal transformation and lived experience. I understand what it means to navigate stress, loss, grief, and rebuilding. And I also understand the power of regulation, resilience, and restoration.

My vision for Melt Body Therapies is simple and intentional:

To create a sanctuary where science and spirit coexist.
Where the nervous system is honored.
Where transformation is gentle, not forced.
Where healing feels like coming home.

The name “Melt” is intentional.

Not just to melt away tension —
but to melt out of survival mode.
To melt into awareness.
To melt into alignment.
To melt into spirit.

This is more than massage.

It is embodiment.
It is integration.
It is a return to wholeness.

If you’re seeking more than just an average massage…
If you’re ready to truly unwind…
If you want your body and nervous system to feel safe enough to soften…

Let me help you MELT!

To those who have supported my journey — thank you.
To those just arriving — welcome.

It is an honor to hold this space.🩷🩷🩷

So I just have to share this with y’all…

One thing about me, I’m really in tune with repeating “angel” numbers and synchronicities …
Yesterday I made a purchase for the business, an investment (it’s a surprise! So I can’t reveal what it is just yet) but this is something I’ve been dreaming of for about a year now…

Upon receiving the receipt of payment, I noticed the time stated was ✨2:22 ✨am and the date of ✨2/24✨ (Australian time) …

These numbers are significant in that …
my NC massage license number is 4422,
I was initially licensed on 1/24/2004 (both completely random btw)
Have just reached 22 years as a Massage Therapist
Held my grand opening on 2/24/24 (2 years ago today!)
And what I ordered was sold out and the company has to make a new set just for me and will take 4 weeks!
😱🤯😂❤️✨🌈🙌🏼

So I’m pretty confident that this purchase and what I’m about to bring into my business (and to YOU) is DIVINELY ALIGNED and this is CONFIRMATION that I made the right decision!!! 😇✨

I CAN NOT WAIT TO SHARE WHAT IS COMING!!! It’s unique and no other therapist around has anything close to this!!! It will be part of a new line of “niche” service offerings!!!
I AM SO EXCITED!!!
And you should be too!!!! 🤩🥰❤️✨

02/24/2026

🤔 I would love to know …
what is your favorite type of massage? …

~Swedish/Relaxation
~Therapeutic/Deep Tissue
~Hot Stone
~Lymphatic Drainage
~Aromatherapy

Do you prefer a basic massage? 30 minutes - an hour?
Or a luxurious pampering spa experience? 90 minutes to 2 hours …or as much time as possible 😁?
