Meet Kaylea Koonrad!

Kaylea is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Brighter Futures with five years of experience in the ABA field.

While she’s newer to the Brighter Futures team (she joined in December!), her passion for working with children and families runs deep. Kaylea’s journey into ABA began at the front desk of an ABA clinic, where she quickly realized she wanted to be hands-on with clients and make a direct impact. After researching how to become an RBT, she jumped in as a brand-new tech and never looked back!

Her favorite part of the job is building strong, meaningful relationships with her clients and their families. Kaylea loves celebrating progress as a team and believes that even when growth feels slow, every small step forward is worth celebrating.

She approaches each session with compassion, empathy, and encouragement, always striving to be her clients’ biggest cheerleader.

Outside of work, Kaylea is a true hobby lover. She enjoys scrapbooking, journaling, and recently picked up cross-stitching! And like many of us, she runs on an iced venti shaken espresso to get through the day. We’re so lucky to have her! 💛

Tip for parents & teachers: letting kids choose their favorite item or activity helps them feel included without the stress of traditional Valentine’s Day parties!

Meet Jill Roy!

Jill is a Registered Behavior Technician and Student Analyst at Brighter Futures. She’s been in the ABA field since March 2025 and joined our team in August 2025. Her passion for working in the ASD community began in elementary school, and after working with kids in many roles, she discovered ABA was where her heart truly belonged!

Jill loves pairing with her kiddos and helping them become the best versions of themselves—especially getting to witness their growth and hear those sweet belly laughs. Her approach is compassionate, playful, and strength-based.

She wants parents to know that challenging behaviors aren’t anyone’s fault, and while progress can be slow, every win is worth celebrating.

🌈 Fun fact: Not only does Jill work full-time AND go to school, but she’s also a mom to a one-year-old!

We’re so lucky to have her!
