This year the Boaz location is partnering with us so be sure to come get your car washed anytime today. We will have music, hot dogs, drinks, and a prize wheel. Come support our mission to raise funds to open a day school for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities! And don't forget to visit our sister organization Maranatha Alabama for information on our free monthly events!

CAMP ASCCA Fall and Winter camp info.

As Summer Camp 2025 comes to a close and we look ahead to our Fall and Winter programming, we want to share important information about weekend camp registration.

Due to high demand for both our Fall Weekend and Christmas Weekend, registration for both weekends will open at the same time. During registration, you will have the option to select a 1st choice weekend and, if desired, a 2nd choice weekend.

- If your camper is only available for one weekend, you may select just a 1st choice and leave the 2nd choice blank.
- If your camper is available for both weekends, we encourage you to select both a 1st and 2nd choice to increase the likelihood of placement.
- Please note: Selecting a weekend does not guarantee a spot, and campers who list both weekends may be placed in their 2nd choice depending on availability.

Registration will be open from:
Tuesday, August 19 at 9:00 AM CST
through
Thursday, August 21 at 9:00 AM CST

Weekend Dates & Pricing:

Fall Weekend: October 17–19, 2025
- Individual Camper (ASCCA provides caregiver): $250
- Family Camper (family provides caregiver): $200

Christmas Weekend: December 12–14, 2025
- Individual Camper (ASCCA provides caregiver): $300
- Family Camper (family provides caregiver): $250

During registration, you will also be asked to choose between:
- Family Camp, where a family member or caregiver will stay with and provide care for the camper throughout the weekend, or
- Individual Camp, where Camp ASCCA will provide a caregiver for the camper.

Families will be notified of their camper’s weekend placement by September 1st.

This Fall the Gadsden Parks & Recreation Department will be offering a 6 week baseball league for special needs individuals. We will utilize our Champions Field at the Gadsden Sports Complex behind Gadsden State Community College for games and are looking to play Sunday afternoons. More details will be shared soon regarding registration and play.
