Agape Nation is a not-for-profit corporation in Etowah County, Alabama that will provide daily supervised educational, recreational, and community day care services to adults with intellectual and developmenta
l disabilities (ID/DD) in an effort to promote continued learning, independence, self-worth, and community involvement. Our goal is to provide a school-like environment where adults with (ID/DD) are valued for who they are and provides them with opportunities to achieve personal fulfillment as well as empower them to discover, experience, and realize their full potential as members of the greater community. We believe that adults with developmental disabilities are capable of continued learning. We will provide age and level appropriate education, recreation, therapeutics, community involvement geared towards maintaining and growing skills, increasing independence, and promoting self-worth.
