On Wednesday, our team proudly wore green in support of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day. We’re standing together to raise awareness, show support, and celebrate the strength of individuals living with cerebral palsy.

This day is especially meaningful to us as we wore green in honor of one of our own. Supporting a co-worker and their incredible kiddo. 💚 At RMC, we are more than coworkers..we are a family, and we show up for each other every step of the way.

We believe in caring for every patient and every story, and today is a reminder of the importance of inclusion, compassion, and community.

Full-Time School Based & Community Health Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant: (Mobile Unit)

Rainelle Medical Center is currently seeking a provider for our mobile Unit that will travel to the unserved Elementary Schools and other locations within Greenbrier County. The unit will travel to several different schools and also community events or where healthcare is needed. This position is a year-round, 5 days per week position. When schools have planned closures, this provider will be scheduled at one of our other locations.

The hours will be 8:00- 4:00 or 7:30-3:30. During planned school closures, the provider will work 4 ten hour shifts. Occasionally, evenings or Saturday hours will be required to participate in after-school activities or health fairs. This position will require interaction with both the students and faculty, and engagement with office administration, the school nurse and the general public. Public speaking at school assemblies or an open house may be requested. Organizational and group meeting attendance will be required.

The candidate must possess an active license without restrictions, 2 years FNP or PA experience, have an outgoing personality, enjoy children, and confident to work with a small staff without direct supervision. Preference will be given to applicants who have DOT Certification, LARC training/certification, and previous experience working in school-based health care or pediatrics.

Job Opening: FRONT DESK REGISTRATION CLERK

We are currently seeking a front desk registration clerk to work full-time in our Maxwelton Health Center location. Duties will include, but not be limited to the following: proper registration of all patients, scheduling appointments, accepting incoming calls and forwarding as appropriate, processing incoming records, and copying/scanning documents into charts. The candidate should have good computer and organization skills, good communication skills and the ability to deal with the public in a pleasant and professional manner. This will be a full-time position. Travel to other locations may be required at times. Excellent Benefits package included.

FULL-TIME HOUSEKEEPER NEEDED:

RMC has an immediate opening for a full-time housekeeper on the Eastern end of the county. This candidate will perform routine cleaning tasks as needed to maintain the facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, providing a suitable environment for the care of patients and employees. The candidate must be able to bend and lift (up to 50 lbs. with assistance). Required tasks include sweeping, mopping, bathroom cleaning, taking out trash, cleaning spills, handling medical waste, etc. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to work independently, and have time management skills. Our Rainelle Medical Center team showed up strong in blue to raise awareness for colorectal cancer screening, one of the most effective ways to prevent and detect colorectal cancer early.
Screening saves lives, and we’re committed to supporting our community with education, access, and encouragement every step of the way.
