Happy World Population Day!🌍 Did you know our world is home to about 8.2 billion people this year, with India now leading as the most populated country at over 1.44 billion.

This year’s focus is all about supporting young people and making sure everyone has access to the tools and info they need to make choices about their future.

It’s a good reminder that population impacts everything from education and jobs to the environment. Every person matters and every choice counts.

The heat is on this summer! And did you know that the temperature and weather can cause COPD symptoms to worsen?

When we have hot and humid summer air, it can make those with COPD feel worse because the air is “thicker,” and is filled with moisture, making it hard to breathe.

Here are some tips to help you enjoy summer with every breath:
- Keep cool
- Don’t overexert yourself
- Watch the weather forecast
- Dress appropriately for the heat
- Stay hydrated

Make sure you are taking care of yourself if you have COPD. If you have questions, our team is here for you.
