Every January, millions of people set ambitious health resolutions—only to feel discouraged when those goals fade by February. While the desire to “start fresh” is understandable, lasting health doesn’t come from all-or-nothing changes or unrealistic promises. The truth is, building healthy habits that stick has far less to do with motivation and far more to do with consistency, planning, and support.

At Avance Care, we believe sustainable wellness is built one small step at a time. Whether you’re looking to improve nutrition, move more, manage stress, or prioritize preventive care, you don’t need a resolution to make meaningful progress. Check out our tips on building habits that stick, and how our care teams are here to help: https://www.avancecare.com/how-to-build-health-habits-that-actually-stick-no-resolutions-required/

According to the CDC, last winter saw the highest number of child deaths from the flu in 15 years. Getting vaccinated in October protects you as flu cases usually rise in November. Nearly everyone age 6 months and older should get a flu shot, especially children, older adults, pregnant women, and people with chronic conditions like asthma or diabetes. While vaccination won't block every infection, it dramatically lowers the risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and complications. Don’t miss a moment this fall and holiday season – call us to schedule your flu shot today!
