Tiny Habits = Big Energy ⭐

Circadian Rhythm Break:
Instead of just “get more sleep,” focus on syncing with your body’s internal clock. Stepping outside for 5–10 minutes of sunlight plus light movement (walk, stretch, breathwork) in the morning or during that mid-afternoon slump can help reset circadian rhythm, boost cortisol at the right time, and improve energy naturally.

Magnesium Rich Bedtime Routines:
Most people don’t realize magnesium is a quiet hero for energy. It helps with muscle recovery, stress regulation, and sleep quality. Foods like pumpkin seeds, leafy greens, or even an Epsom salt bath can improve magnesium levels naturally at home or add magnesium to your next IV Drip.

Ideal Vitamin Levels:
Key vitamins linked most strongly with general fatigue are B12, Vitamin D, Iron, & Magnesium. B12 being the lead vitamin linked to our energy helps our bodies convert food into useable cellular energy, keeping our red blood cell count up, and plays a roll in our nerve health.

With winter coming, less daylight & being indoors more, Vitamin D is an excellent option for our 40% off Vitamin Shot special every Sunday. You can book ahead or wait to see what we have same day, we're here for you.

Keeping your natural vitamin levels up, such as Vitamin D can impact your health in many positive ways.

Intramuscular Shots/Injections provide vitamins and minerals directly into the muscle which results in a 100% absorption rate whereas Oral vitamins that make their way to the gut are only partially absorbed.

Our Sunday Shot Special offers an affordable way to add this to your self care routine!

What an amazing thing Wake Forest is doing talking about Mental Health, especially with athletes!

Mental Wellness Fair on September 27 to address depression, su***de & more

The Town of Wake Forest and several community partners will host the Third Annual Wake Forest Mental Wellness Fair on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 1-4 p.m., at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St.

Led by Commissioner Nick Sliwinski, the fair is designed to raise awareness about mental wellness and provide information on community programs, services, and resources available to loved ones who may be suffering from untreated or undertreated mental illness. Offering activities for children and teens, the event will also provide information for families, seniors, and veterans.

One of the highlights of the event promises to be a panel discussion on the pressure athletes and their families face. The panel will include the parents of Grayson Murray, a PGA golfer who died by su***de in 2024.

Several vendor advocates will be onsite representing local organizations, agencies, and non-profits that provide services in the areas of mental health, health care, social services, and more. These advocates will share information on topics ranging from depression and su***de to holiday grief, veterans’ services, and wellness.

In addition, the Town of Wake Forest and the Wake Forest Fire Department will provide free food – while it lasts, and the Ripe for Revival Mobile Market, hosted by the Northern Community Food Security Team, will be parked in the Renaissance Centre parking lot. Wake Med will also offer free blood pressure screenings, and a mobile barber will provide free haircuts.

The September 27 Mental Wellness Fair is free and open to all – whether you need help or want to know how to support those who do. Preregistration is encouraged - but not required - by completing the online signup form at bit.ly/TOWFMentalWellnessFair. For more information, email Community Outreach Manager Andrew Brown, Jr. at abrown@wakeforestnc.gov.
