Waking up to your startups first PR and it’s in FORBES is WILD. Not only that, it’s a really important piece about the technology space and how funding is distributed that most people aren’t aware of.

It’s not about getting mad about why things are the way they’ve been, it’s about bringing light to patterns that should change and empowering everyone, women included, to have access to build because their perspectives are not only economically valuable, but culturally critical.

I chose to bootstrap SoulPod because the institutions that currently exist are not designed for the way women work or think about growth. They’re built for growth at any cost.

And that’s not what we’re about.

Doesn’t mean it’s easy, but I’m so honored to be building this with and for the awakening community 🤗🪩💙

Sometimes you just need some 🍄‍🟫 and 🍫

I have deep appreciation for ceremonial cacao and honestly the best way to connect with it is simple. Be intentional, soulful, enjoy making it and only add a bit of water, cinnamon and honey. That’s it.

I personally LOVE

Happy Sunday lightbeings ✨✨✨

You were taught the brain runs your life.

But biologically, the brain mostly interprets signals.

It’s a prediction engine — constantly trying to guess what reality is so you can survive it.

The heart does something different.

It regulates the signal the brain is receiving.

Every heartbeat produces an electrical wave.

When those waves are chaotic, the brain shifts into vigilance, scanning, over-thinking, and future-projecting.

When the rhythm becomes ordered, the nervous system exits threat mode.

Clarity doesn’t come from thinking harder.
It comes from changing the incoming signal.

This is why breath, attention, and emotion together alter perception so quickly — you’re not convincing the mind.

You’re changing the field the mind is operating inside.

The brain processes experience.

The heart stabilizes the conditions in which experience appears.

What many traditions called the “heart center” wasn’t metaphor.

It was instruction.

Coherence isn’t belief.
It’s physiology.

And physiology is trainable.

Join us on Thursday for our community practice on Substack where we will activate our heart and gallop into this new year 🔥 🐴

You gotta celebrate your wins… before moving onto the next thing. I say that because I’m horrible at it. 😅

Writing a book is one of the most joyful, interesting, magical, challenging and mystical experiences I’ve ever taken on. Now I don’t have to look back and wonder… what if? Where would it go? Could I do it?

This was certainly a part of my life’s purpose here, for whatever reason. Can’t wait to see what comes next.

Today is asking us to LET GO of any remaining shame… this cannot come with you into the year of the horse. We need to be light and swift … and shame is dense and sticky.

What shame are you letting go of that is going to free you to be who you came here to be?

There’s a reason so many of us feel on edge right now.

We’re living inside overlapping crises—technological acceleration, ecological grief, social fragmentation, truth fatigue. A tyrannical government.

But here’s the thing no one says clearly enough:

A regulated nervous system isn’t self-care.
It’s evolutionary technology.

In moments of chaos, the most influential beings in the room aren’t the loudest, the fastest, or even the most certain.

They’re the ones whose internal signal EXPANDS under pressure. The ones who can stay present while uncertainty moves through them. The ones who don’t outsource their safety to systems that are clearly unstable.

Regulation is not passivity.
It’s coherence.
And coherence is contagious.

How we move through these times—individually and collectively—will shape what comes next. Not through ideology, but through capacity. The nervous systems we embody now are training the future we’re stepping into.

This is the work we do at SoulPod.

Not to escape the world.
But to meet it with enough presence to evolve it. 🌀

This video was taken yesterday in North Carolina by my family as the venerable monks continue their walk for peace 🙏🏼

When the world feels heavy, which I am certainly feeling today… look for the good that is being done. The quiet work of reminding us who we REALLY are at our core. Loving, kind, peaceful, powerful, compassionate. That is the natural state of humanity, and anything else is at odds with itself.

We can have compassion because this darkness lives as potential in all, just as the light does. Which do we focus on?

As the monks say, today will be my peaceful day.

And I’ll add this… may what I do, think or say come from this powerful reservoir of peace within me. That is our power.

Dear Lightbeing,

Universe here. Remember that some day, you’ll look back on this life as though it were a dream. Real, but only for a short time. And then you wake up.

Love,

⚡️ what are your experiences with Kundalini Yoga?! ⚡️

Kundalini yoga is a form of yoga that is unique in that it incorporates movement, meditation, and breathing exercises to awaken the energy located at the base of the spine. This yoga practice is designed to strengthen the nervous system, balance the glandular system, and increase mental clarity.

Kundalini yoga has been practiced for centuries as a means of awakening the energy within oneself and promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This ancient practice involves a series of physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation that work together to awaken the dormant energy at the base of the spine and move it up through the body's energy centers. By doing so, practitioners can experience a sense of inner peace, heightened awareness, and increased vitality.

Kundalini yoga is suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness and can be practiced in a group setting or individually. Want to give it a try and see how it can help you tap into your inner energy and improve your overall health and well-being? Join me Wednesdays at .sf either virtually or online! 🧘

Meditation and sleep 💤 , let’s break it down!

Whether you are practicing with me IRL or through the , one thing I consistently hear is that people start sleeping deeper and longer once they get in a consistent rhythm with their meditation practice. Even for some people that have had severe insomnia. 😮

Meditation can have several positive effects on sleep and can be beneficial for those struggling with sleep-related issues. Here are some ways in which meditation can help improve sleep:

✨Stress Reduction: By practicing meditation regularly, you can calm your mind and body, making it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep.

✨ Anxiety and Worries: When you let go of anxious thoughts before bedtime, you create a more peaceful mental space that is conducive to sleep.

✨ Present Moment Awareness: Mindfulness meditation encourages living in the present moment, letting go of regrets about the past and worries about the future. This can help you focus on the immediate experience of falling asleep.

✨Improved Sleep Quality: Individuals report more restful and rejuvenating sleep after incorporating meditation into their daily routine.

✨Enhanced Relaxation Response: Through meditation, you can activate the body's relaxation response, which counters the stress response.

✨Reduced Insomnia Symptoms: Mindfulness practices have been shown to reduce the time it takes to fall asleep and decrease the number of nighttime awakenings.

✨Regulated Breathing: Slow deep breathing can trigger the body's relaxation response and help prepare the mind and body for sleep.

✨Developing a Bedtime Routine: Incorporating meditation into your bedtime routine can signal to your body that it's time to wind down and prepare for sleep.

If you are looking to build up a breathwork and meditation habit, check out SoulPod! Daily practices that build upon each other so you get plenty of space to access the full power of these practices over 3 weeks. ✨🙌🏼
