Hey, everyone! It's been a bit since I last posted. For those out of the loop, I had to put my dear, sweet cat, Dexter, to sleep last week. To say I'm still working through my grief would be an understatement, but I felt the call to come back to social media, at least casually, so here I am!

It's Oracle Thursday and today I wanted to pull a card from my beautiful new deck, Victoria Maxwell's Angels Among Us oracle. Today's collective card is Baba Yaga, famous crone and wise woman. We're being asked to step into our power and embrace its duality, both the light and the dark of it. We have both the power to harm and to heal inside of us. It's up to us to choose which path we take and which master we serve.

We're also being asked to embrace the wild woman (or man) within. The one with sparks in their eyes, fires in their bellies, and energy buzzing from their fingertips. Don't be afraid to reclaim your untamed divine essence. Society expects us all to stay in pretty little boxes, handing over our power in exchange for our compliance. Let's say no more! Take back your magick!

Lastly, we're being called to embrace the ageing process. As a woman in her 30s who is on the cusp of what society sees as washed up instead of desireable, I've struggled with allowing myself the gift of ageing. And it truly is a gift as it means we are still alive, still growing, still thriving. While I can't promise that I'll embrace my greys or stop using my trusty retinol creams, I think we can all work on seeing age as a blessing instead of a curse.
