Building Our Confidence with Every Step!

Our Advanced Balance Class offers residents the tools to stay strong, steady, and independent. Our residents are working hard to sharpen their balance and improve their mobility. This crew proves every week that staying strong, steady, and active is the best way to improve their balance with confidence. You can find us every Monday and Thursday morning at 10:30am in the wellness studio!

At Hayes Barton Place, we know that lifelong learning keeps the mind sharp and the spirit inspired. The Life Enrichment program regularly welcomes outstanding guest speakers who spark curiosity and meaningful conversations. Last week, we were thrilled to host Martin Brinkley, Dean of the UNC School of Law, who shared updates about the many exciting happenings at UNC Chapel Hill. The following day, Dr. Kevin Stewart captivated us with his presentation on The Earth’s Changing Climate.

We’re grateful to these remarkable speakers and look forward to many more opportunities for residents to grow, learn, and engage with leaders from all walks of life. Because here at Hayes Barton Place, learning never stops!

In a celebration of culinary artistry, our Chef proudly represented Hayes Barton Place in a friendly competition against the esteemed Chef from The Templeton of Cary.

Residents from both communities enjoyed the unique opportunity to serve as judges, savoring each creation and casting their votes. The afternoon was filled with exceptional flavors, spirited camaraderie, and a shared appreciation for fine dining.

We extend our gratitude to both chefs for their talent and creativity, and to our residents for their discerning palates and enthusiastic participation.

We have a new tradition around here, INSPIRE Friday! INSPIRE is the backbone of our programing which stands for inclusive, nutritional, spiritual, physical, intellectual, recreational and engaging. At Hayes Barton Place we work to create an environment that celebrates vitality and connection. Every Friday we wear our INSPIRE shirts to remind us of our collective goal of promoting wellness across our community!
