Most seniors and individuals with I/DD thrive when they stay active, and finding the right kind of movement makes all the difference.

Here are some of our favorite ways to make movement part of everyday life:

🏡 Indoors
Chair yoga, light stretching, or dancing to your favorite music are ways you can move your body without leaving your home.

🌳 Outdoors
A walk around the neighborhood or visiting a local park are simple ways to enjoy fresh air and stay moving at your own pace.

🤝 With Others
Community events, volunteer opportunities, and social programs keep you active while building the meaningful connections that make life richer.

Which of these does your loved one enjoy most? Drop it in the comments!

Finding the right caregiver isn’t just about availability—it’s about finding the right fit.

At Amivie, we believe the best care happens when there’s a genuine connection between the person receiving support and the person providing it.

That’s why we take a thoughtful approach to caregiver matching, focusing on what matters most: Personalized Matching.

We consider personality, preferences, routines, and specific needs to pair individuals with caregivers who are the right fit—not just the next available.

Our support is:
• Connection-Driven: Support Strong relationships that build trust, comfort, and consistency, creating a more positive experience for everyone involved.

• Individualized Approach: No two people are the same. We take the time to understand each situation and match caregivers who can support both daily needs and personal goals.

When the right match is made, care feels more natural, more consistent, and more meaningful.

If you’re exploring care options or want to learn more about our approach, we’re here to help.

Amivie came alive this Easter with celebrations taking place across all of our programs, bringing joy, connection, and fun to the individuals and teams we serve.

At our Greensboro and Cary campuses, the festivities included egg hunts and egg dyeing, creating memorable moments for everyone involved.

During the egg hunt at Morrisville Park, three students found a special golden egg and received a basket filled with goodies as a prize!

And at the Clemmons day program, the crew is loving the shift into spring, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying being outside together!

Our teams brought so much energy and heart to these celebrations, making each moment truly special.

At Amivie, holidays like these are about more than the occasion. They’re an opportunity for our clients and teams to build traditions that make a community feel like home.

Spring is much more enjoyable when you aren't stuck dealing with a stuffy nose or itchy eyes. 🌸

As the flowers begin to bloom, many of us can feel the impact of rising pollen levels. For the seniors and individuals we support at home, allergy season can be especially hard to manage, and the right environment makes all the difference.

Here are three easy tips to help you and your loved ones navigate allergy season with ease:

🏡 Keep Your Home Clear
Pollen travels fast on breezy days. By tracking daily pollen counts and keeping your windows closed during peak hours, you ensure your home remains a truly comfortable, allergen-free space.

đź’Š Be Proactive with Care
Timing is everything. Instead of waiting for symptoms to peak, stay ahead by starting your allergy medications early. Consulting with your doctor ensures you have the most effective treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs.

đź’§ Hydrate for Relief
Simple habits make a big difference. Drinking plenty of water throughout the day helps your body manage symptoms like congestion more effectively, keeping you feeling your best from the inside out.

Spring should be a season of enjoyment. By taking these small, expert-backed steps, you can focus less on the sniffles and more on the things that matter most.

We are so proud to share this feedback from one of our own at our Greensboro home care office:

“I love working for Quality Home Staffing; the new manager, Gee, is awesome. She [and her staff] go above and beyond for her staff and clients. There’s no better place to work than here.”

Thank you, Gee, Vikki, Sam, and the whole team, for all you do to make Amivie a place where both staff and clients thrive! 🏠✨
