“It will be an Amazing Year”
Now I know it’s the second Monday of the year, and for many, life has already shifted in unexpected ways. Plans changed. Goals got disrupted. Losses happened. And now you may be feeling guilt, frustration, heaviness, or uncertainty.
Here’s your reminder today:
It’s okay…
• It’s okay, you haven’t started the plan
• It’s okay, you haven’t written the goals
• It’s okay, you didn’t begin the fast
• It’s okay, you missed days in your Bible plan
• It’s okay, you haven’t started the diet or gone to the gym
• It’s okay, you haven’t been waking up early to pray
• It’s okay if joy hasn’t met you at the top of the year
• It’s okay if the “fresh start” hasn’t happened yet
And there is still time to start all of those things.
The start of your year may have surprised you, but it did not surprise God. Every shift and disruption still has purpose. His plans for you remain good plans to prosper you, to give you hope, and to give you a future.
So, when frustration hits or discouragement rises, meditate on this:
God is the Alpha and Omega, the Author and Finisher of your faith. His goal is not to diminish our faith but to give us the opportunity to expand our perception of Him and increase our faith. He knows the beginning and the end and everything in between. Even through trials, He is forming you for purpose. You are not forgotten. You are not forsaken. He is near to the brokenhearted and carries every burden you bring to Him. He prepares you and propels you into the life He designed.
So, count it all joy! It will be an Amazing year—God is still working.
