Last Call for SMBC Group 💚

If you are stuck between:
“How long should I wait?”
“What if I regret this?”
“Am I really allowed to do this on my own?”
…you are not alone.

So many women spend years going back and forth in their heads trying to figure out what the “right” decision is about motherhood, relationships, timelines, and whether they can truly move forward on their own.

This group is for the women in that in-between stage.

I see the ambitious woman who gives so much — at work, at home, to everyone else. It’s okay to pause and get support that understands your drive and the pressures that come with it. At Coping Forward Counseling Services, we offer evidence-based, practical therapy tailored for high-achieving women — skills to manage anxiety, navigate life transitions, and set boundaries without losing your ambition.

Small steps. Real tools. Lasting balance. If you’re in Cary, Raleigh, or elsewhere in North Carolina (and we also support clients in Florida), you don’t have to navigate this alone. Read more about how tailored therapy can help you move from overwhelmed to intentional: https://wix.to/GiEFDbc

What’s one area you’d like more balance in right now? Share below — let’s start the conversation. 😊🌿

Life as a high-achieving woman can feel like a constant balancing act. You strive for excellence in your career, relationships, and personal growth. Yet, beneath the surface of success, there may be moments of overwhelm, self-doubt, or exhaustion. I want you to know that it’s okay to seek support ...

Are you quietly wondering if becoming a single mom by choice might be your path — but you’re not sure yet?
That “I don’t know” feeling is exactly what this group is for.
Starting June 2nd, I’m running a 6-week virtual support group for women in NC + Florida who are considering solo motherhood — not ready to decide, just ready to think it through with support.
We meet Tuesdays 12–1pm on Google Meet.
As a licensed therapist and a Single Mother by Choice myself, I’ve sat with this question from both sides. This group is a space to slow down, get clear, and finally say out loud the things you’ve been carrying alone.

If you’ve been quietly wondering whether solo motherhood might be the right path for you… you’re not alone. 🤍

This therapist-led virtual support group is for women in North Carolina + Florida who are in the considering stage — the part no one really talks about.

The overthinking.
The timelines.
The “should I wait longer?” questions.
The fear, grief, hope, and pressure all existing at the same time.

This is a space for clarity — not pressure.

✨ 6-week virtual group
✨ Small supportive setting
✨ Real conversations with women who get it
✨ Led by a therapist + Single Mother by Choice

In your 30s and 40s the voice of wanting a child keeps getting louder and louder. You don’t know if you should stop waiting, be open to a nontraditional path, but you do feel the weight of this decision — and it feels heavy.

You’re not 100% certain but the thought is there, and you just want to say it out loud to someone who gets it.

I’ve sat with this feeling myself. And now I sit with women who are right where you are.

If you’re ready to stop holding it in, I’m accepting new clients in NC and FL. Click the link in my bio to schedule a free intro call today.

I’m reflecting on how The Devil Wears Prada 2 names a quiet truth many of us live: timelines don’t always match the plans we made. If you’re a high-achieving woman feeling the push and pull between career, partnership, and the idea of motherhood—you’re not alone.

In my work at Coping Forward Counseling Services, I see how pressure, grief, and uncertainty show up together. There are practical steps that help: grieving old expectations, exploring options (like egg-freezing or solo parenting), and building emotional self-trust through evidence-based approaches such as DBT. Therapy and therapist-led support groups can give you space to make decisions from clarity instead of pressure.

If you’re in Cary or Raleigh (or anywhere in NC/FL) and curious about individual therapy or our support groups for women navigating these transitions, I’d love to connect. Request an appointment or learn more at the link below. 💛

Share one small thing you wish people understood about this stage of life—let’s start a real conversation.

The message was clear: work harder, push further, and never lose sight of your ambitions. But the sequel, The Devil Wears Prada 2, speaks to a different reality,....

Let’s normalize having a baby on your own. 💛

Not because we gave up on love.
Not because it’s easy.
But because motherhood does not have to be reserved for one specific timeline or relationship status.

Many women are carrying these fears quietly:
“What will people think?”
“Am I running out of time?”
“Can I actually do this?”
“What if I regret it?”

That’s why I created a therapist-led virtual support group for women considering Single Mother by Choice — so there’s finally a space to process the fear, grief, pressure, confusion, and hope with other women who actually get it.

You do not have to carry these thoughts alone while trying to figure out your future.

DM “GROUP” if you want information about the next North Carolina and Florida virtual group.

Since kindergarten, I knew I wanted to be a mom.
While everyone else was picking careers and majors, I was just waiting for my real life to start. So I did everything “right” — the degree, the career, the house. And spent years hiding from the one thing I always knew.
I wanted to be a mother. And I didn’t want to wait anymore.
If you’re a woman considering single motherhood by choice, you are not alone. So many of us knew early. So many of us spent years doing everything else first. And so many of us are now asking — what if I just did it?
That’s exactly why I created a space for women navigating this decision.
DM me the word GROUP and I’ll send you all the details. 🤍
