Journey inward with journeys hypnosis Hypnosis is a trance state of relaxation and heightened imagination.

Pairing well with psychotherapy, hypnosis can be effective in facilitating a shift with an issue that has challenged you. It is a normal state that most people experience on a regular basis - such as when daydreaming or when "losing yourself" in a book or movie. You are fully conscious, but you tune out most of the stimuli around you, giving you the ability to focus on the issue that needs resolve to the near exclusion of any other thought. In hypnosis, you will remain awake, aware and in control for the length of the session. When a person relaxes the mind and narrows their focus through guided direct or indirect suggestion by the practitioner, their consciousness shifts from a place of intellectual, executive function of the mind, to a more expansive, felt sense orientation of mind and focus. Transpersonal hypnotherapy encompasses the whole person in body, mind and spirit. It works with every aspect of the individual to bring about powerful and effective change. This type of hypnosis operates on the belief that each human being possesses answers and guidance within. It is best for personal change and accessing both helpful and disruptive thought patterns and beliefs. During a session, you will connect to your own inner, intuitive voice.
