Leading up to National Women Chiropractors Day on June 5th, the NCCA is proud to highlight some of the phenomenal members shaping healthcare across North Carolina.
Today, we feature Dr. Maggie Harris with Better You Chiropractic & Dry Needling as she reflects on her purpose in the profession:
💬 "Being a woman in chiropractic means leading with both strength and compassion. It means being confident in your clinical skills while still making sure every patient feels seen, heard, and cared for. For me, it’s always been about creating a space where people feel comfortable asking questions, understand what’s going on with their body, and know they’re more than just an appointment on the schedule. I think women in this profession naturally bring a level of connection and attention to detail that helps patients feel safe and understood. On a bigger level, it means helping open doors for more women to step into leadership roles in healthcare and feel confident building the chiropractic profession."
