Day 12 of RSC's 12 Days of Christmas - Stress Relief!

Today, give yourself the wonderful gift of stress relief (something everyone needs). Take 12 minutes and stretch. You might be surprised how much stretching can relieve stress and anxiety!

Stretching can also help with muscle tightness, improve your posture, and help with range of motion!

Today, offer yourself the chance to connect with friends, family, and loved ones. Set aside time for an 11-minute (minimum) phone call, video chat, or in-person conversation. Reaching out and letting those you cherish know you're thinking of them can have a significant impact.

Today make it a goal to take at least 10 minutes and read a good book or listen to a positive podcast.

Reading a book is good for the soul because it nourishes parts of us that daily life often neglects. Such as our inner world, our imagination, and our sense of meaning. Same could be said for listening to an uplifting podcast!

Today give yourself the gift of taking a 9 minute power walk. You can do this outside while getting some fresh air and vitamin D or 9 minutes on the treadmill.

Walking burns calories, improves circulation, boosts your metabolism, and helps regulate your blood sugar! Not to mention it can help lower your blood pressure and cholesterol over time!
