The relationships between our companions and clients are at the heart of everything we do. 💛

One beautiful example of this is the special bond between Ebony and her client, Jean, and they're another Golden Connection!

Ebony is an energetic and caring caregiver originally from New York. Jean as born in Minnesota and lived in California before making her way to the South.

One of the things Ebony loves most about Jean is her bubbly personality. Ebony shares that she truly enjoys spending time with Jean and feels she can be herself around her.

Over time, their connection has grown into something that feels much more like family than simply caregiver and client.

Jean’s daughter offers a simple piece of advice to others who may be considering additional support: don’t be afraid to get extra care.

The right caregiver can truly be a blessing.When you find the right match, it becomes something to look forward to and brings companionship, comfort, and even fun to everyday life.

We extend our deepest thanks and farewell to Kristee, who’s brightened Golden Harmony for over five years. An integral part of our team, she brought warmth, laughter, and consistent care to our clients, team members, and community. In her role teaching and coaching team members, leading support groups, and working closely with clients, Kristee contributed so much to supporting everyone we serve. As one of our RN Nurse Supervisors, she’ll be missed.

We kicked off our Mind, Body, Spirit series at {(575458822950684)[The Templeton of Cary]} with a powerful conversation about the mind.

Thank you to Anna Watkins from {(urn:li:organization:106715686)[Kildaire Counseling PLLC]} for providing practical, take-home strategies for managing anxiety and depression, and for helping to clear up common misconceptions about therapy for older adults. By the end, we were all reminded how to be more present and enjoy the people around us.💛

Golden Harmony had an incredible time hosting Whole Hog Judge .vaughan for a packed event at ! He brought the rich, smoky history of North Carolina BBQ to life. 🍖

Big thanks to for bringing the flavor! Their incredible BBQ had residents reminiscing about beloved BBQ spots and long‑held traditions.

From tangy Eastern vinegar styles to the sweet tomato notes of Western BBQ, the flavors and stories stirred up a delicious trip down memory lane for everyone!

Daylight Saving Time starts this weekend! Be sure to set your clocks forward one hour before heading to bed tonight (Saturday). ⏰

Longer daylight in the evenings means more time for taking an evening stroll, lingering on the front porch, or simply enjoying the extra sunshine.

But for seniors (and caregivers!), even small time changes can disrupt routines.

This is a great reminder to:
✔️ Adjust medication reminders.
✔️ Reset clocks and appliances.
✔️ Ease into the new schedule with a little extra rest.

If your loved one needs help adjusting their routine, we’re always here to lend a hand. 💛
