Thanks for the opportunity to include patient voicea in your improvement work.

Where do patients fit in? Everywhere.

Patient and community engagement should be a part of program development, policy development, research and improvement efforts.

It’s being heard.
It’s being believed.
It’s being part of the decision.

IAre you a birthing person with a physical or mobility-related disability? We want to hear from you!

Our research team at Northwestern University is conducting a study on perinatal care experiences of people with physical or mobility-related disabilities. Your experiences can help shape more accessible and inclusive healthcare systems.

We are looking for people with disabilities who have given birth in the past to participate in 60–90 minute interviews. By joining, you’ll be contributing your voice to a project that aims to improve access to and quality of obstetric care for future parents. You will receive $100 for your time.

For more information about participation, click this link or contact the Principal Investigator (PI): Carol Haywood at carol.haywood@northwestern.edu.

Alt Text for Flyer Image:

Image shows a flyer for a Northwestern University research study showing an image of a pregnant Black woman using a wheelchair. The text invites people with physical or mobility-related disabilities to share their obstetric care experiences in Chicago. Participants complete a 60–90 minute interview and receive $100. A QR code on the flyer links to a prepopulated email to the PI for enrollment.
