Generations coming together for a "Hoppy" Easter! 🐰🌷

We had the most wonderful time hosting our annual Easter Egg Hunt at Waltonwood Lake Boone! It was a joy to see our residents, their families, and our neighbors from The Goddard School filling the grounds with laughter and smiles.

These intergenerational partnerships truly make our community feel like family.

We had such a wonderful time during our visit with Santa Andy. We spent an afternoon tucked in for cozy conversations and plenty of hot chocolate while listening to Santa read "The Night Before Christmas." Seeing the magic in everyone’s eyes was the best gift of all! 🎅📖

With the "Golden Guardians" star symbolizing their eternal presence, we raised a toast to the many lives that forever shine in our hearts. ✨

What a way to end Active Aging Week at Waltonwood Lake Boone!Our 3rd Annual Resident Art Gala was a huge success. We loved seeing our talented residents showcase their amazing work and the incredible support from everyone who came to admire their art. What a wonderful night for our community!

✨Big news from Waltonwood Lake Boone! Our Kindness Council just finished an amazing 2-month project: creating "birthday boxes" for kids in our community!

We partnered with Catholic Parish Outreach food bank and learned they give out 10-12 birthday boxes DAILY when available. When our residents heard about children missing out on birthdays, they generously donated to the cause!

Our residents, including those in memory care, decorated, signed cards, and assembled 75 boxes! Each box has everything for a party: cake mix, frosting, pan, soda (for baking!), plates, napkins, candles, balloons, streamers, and a gift!🎂🎁

We were thrilled to drop off 75 BIRTHDAY BOXES to Catholic Parish Outreach and see their incredible work firsthand. That's 75 more birthdays that can now be celebrated! So proud of our Waltonwood Lake Boone family for making such a difference!

Simply swing by our parking lot on Wednesday, July 30th from 3-4:40pm with your donation, and we'll treat your beloved four-legged friend to a delicious pup cup as a huge thank you! 🐶🍦 It's a quick, easy, and wag-tastic way to make a big difference for animals in need right here in our community. We're bursting with pride over here! 🎉 Our amazing seniors recently put their crafting skills to work, creating super soft and cozy tie blankets specifically for the senior dogs at the WakeGov Pets: Wake County Animal Center.
It's heartwarming to see their dedication to bringing comfort and cheer to these sweet pups. We believe every dog deserves a warm place to rest! Let's send some love to both our residents and the wonderful team at the Animal Center!
