✨Big news from Waltonwood Lake Boone! Our Kindness Council just finished an amazing 2-month project: creating "birthday boxes" for kids in our community!

We partnered with Catholic Parish Outreach food bank and learned they give out 10-12 birthday boxes DAILY when available. When our residents heard about children missing out on birthdays, they generously donated to the cause!

Our residents, including those in memory care, decorated, signed cards, and assembled 75 boxes! Each box has everything for a party: cake mix, frosting, pan, soda (for baking!), plates, napkins, candles, balloons, streamers, and a gift!🎂🎁

We were thrilled to drop off 75 BIRTHDAY BOXES to Catholic Parish Outreach and see their incredible work firsthand. That's 75 more birthdays that can now be celebrated! So proud of our Waltonwood Lake Boone family for making such a difference!

We're bursting with pride over here! 🎉 Our amazing seniors recently put their crafting skills to work, creating super soft and cozy tie blankets specifically for the senior dogs at the WakeGov Pets: Wake County Animal Center.

A social eater, Meemaw enjoys receiving pets while she munches on her food. If you're looking for a gentle and affectionate companion to share special moments with, Meemaw's your gal!

Peepaw is a 12-year-old neutered male who came to the shelter with his companion, Meemaw. Truly a sweet, little old man in spirit, this adorable tabby is ready to greet his new owners with all the warmth and affection of a dear family member.

A fiend for the finer things in life, Peepaw would love nothing more than to lay back and relax while you shower him with pets, gentle brushing, and tasty treats. His calm and comforting presence will make any house feel like a home!

We're thrilled with our paws-itive new partnership with the WakeGov Pets: Wake County Animal Center! 🐾 Each week, we'll be showcasing some of their most adorable senior pets who are patiently waiting for their second chance at a forever home and a spot in your heart.

Meet this week's lovable companion **Antar**, a handsome 8-year-old tuxedo gentleman with a gentle heart. He's looking for a calm, loving home after a difficult transition, as he was surrendered when his owner developed asthma. Antar is a bit shy in new surroundings, but he quickly shows his sweet side with patience and understanding. He loves head pets once he feels safe, and a little catnip is a great way to earn his trust! This tidy, well-mannered boy forms deep bonds and is truly worth the wait.

Adopt Boyfriend! A Senior Snuggler Seeking His Forever Home! 🐾

Can you open your heart and home to Boyfriend, a truly special senior dog who desperately needs a loving family? This handsome gentleman is a world-class cuddler who thrives on human connection and wants nothing more than to be by your side.

Boyfriend was surrendered due to breed restrictions and is struggling immensely in the shelter environment. Despite the incredible efforts of volunteers and staff, the stress is taking its toll. He yearns to return to a cozy home where he can snuggle up and soak up all the love he deserves.

Looking for an excellent office buddy? Boyfriend is your guy! Give him a frozen treat, a comfy spot by a window, and plenty of room to stretch out, and he'll be the most polite coworker. He even makes sure you take essential snuggle breaks to keep that job stress at bay!

This true gentleman is a pro when it comes to manners, knowing sit, stay, wait, and come when called. He's also a great car rider and loves to look his best! He was a perfect gentleman during a pampering session at Mosa Pet Salon.

What do you get when you combine dapper dads, fantastic neckties, and an abundance of pie?
👔 Our "Pies & Ties" Father's Day luncheon, of course!
We celebrated our incredible fathers with pizza pies galore and a dessert table featuring Apple, Pecan, and Key lime deliciousness. It was a fantastic event, and let's just say no one went home hungry!

Spring has sprung, and our Memory Care residents at Waltonwood Lake Boone are celebrating in the most creative way! 🎨🌸 We kicked off the season with a vibrant "Produce Paintings" session, where we traded traditional brushes for fresh, colorful vegetables. 🥕🥦

The results were truly remarkable! Each resident added their own flavorful touch to their artwork, creating stunning abstract pieces. It was a joy to see the room filled with laughter and artistic expression.
