Healing after surgery isn’t just physical. It’s mental too. 🤍

We spend a lot of time talking about recovery timelines, swelling, incisions, and all the physical pieces of healing. But being out of your normal routine can be an adjustment too.

Some days may feel slower than expected. Some days may feel emotional. Some days may not look exactly how you pictured them. That’s all part of the process.

Finding small things that bring you comfort during recovery can make a difference. A walk outside when you're cleared, sitting in the sunshine, spending time with your pets, reading, or simply creating moments that help you feel like you.

Taking care of your mental and emotional health matters just as much as taking care of your body.

This week is for our incredible Amelia nurses, but honestly, they deserve to be celebrated year round. From being by your side in the OR, to treating patients in the medspa, guiding you through pre and post-op, and keeping everything running behind the scenes, they are truly the backbone of what we do.

Their care, compassion, and hard work touch every part of the patient experience, and Amelia would not be what it is without them.

Happy Nurse Appreciation Week to the nurses who make such a difference every single day. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are so thankful for everything you do. 💙

Just 11 weeks post-op from her breast lift and implant exchange with mesh and already feeling more confident in her skin. 🤍

Her implants will continue to settle with time, but it’s always exciting to see patients start feeling like themselves again this early in the healing process. Sometimes a change in implant size, whether that means going bigger or smaller, can completely change the way you feel in your clothes and in your body.

Healing is a process, but she’s already off to an amazing start.
