We are excited to welcome Alexandria Durr (she/hers) to the Nourish Carolina Counseling Family! Alexandria is passionate about working with individuals facing past traumas and current stressors, ranging from low self-esteem and body image distress to life transitions and identity concerns. She prides herself on taking a systems-based approach to care and understanding the impact our context has on our abilities to cope with and manage what life throws our way.
If you work with Alexandria, you will find that she incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative approaches. She often uses elements of mindfulness-based strategies and techniques in her work with clients and is passionate about taking a person-centered and trauma-informed approach to care.
