Did your flight plans change—or worse, did you get stuck—because of the recent winter storm?
Many travelers waited hours for help, not realizing there’s a faster option.

Pro tip: Every U.S.-based airline has international customer service numbers with English-speaking agents. These lines are often less congested than U.S. call centers and can get you rebooked much faster.

Also—if the airline is waiving change fees due to weather, don’t wait to see if your flight gets canceled. Act immediately. Rebooking early can mean the difference between leaving the same day, flying earlier, or being stuck an extra night.

And one more thing—be kind to the agents. They don’t control the weather, but they do control what options they’re able (and willing) to offer. Calm, respectful travelers almost always get better outcomes.

Save this for the next travel disruption—you’ll be glad you did.
