The Typhoons ended their season with a record of 5 wins and 2 losses. After going 3-0 in their division, they are the 2025 Division Champions!!! Join us in sending a huge congratulations to the Durant Trails Typhoons for a memorable and award-winning 35th anniversary season! We are so proud of all our amazing swimmers!

Pool Gate Update: The pool gate was a larger issue than expected and the system needs to be replaced. We are hopeful that the work will be done this afternoon and we can open the pool later today. A notice will be sent out, via email and here on Facebook, when we have a specific open time.

The tennis courts were also impacted. The tennis gate has been unlocked and you will have access until 8PM regardless of whether the gates are fixed today. If for some reason the gates cannot be fixed today, we will chain the tennis courts at 8PM and reopen at 9AM in the morning.

UPDATE: The pool gate was unfortunately not an easy fix. We have someone coming out to look at it tomorrow (Thursday) morning which will cause a delay in opening. Please be on the lookout for an email announcing the opening time.

We have updated some of our pool furniture and need to unload the old! There are stacks of chairs and tables outside of the clubhouse! They are free for the taking before they head off to donation land next week! First come, first serve!

Hey Neighbors!

Get ready to cozy up under the stars because our Neighborhood Movie Night is this Friday @ 8PM in the clubhouse parking lot! We're rolling out the big screen for an old-school favorite- Honey, I Shrunk the Kids- and it is going to be a blast!

We will provide some light snacks and drinks! Don't forget to bring a chair or blankets, your whole crew, and all your neighbors!! Just in case, the rain date for this event will be May 2nd.

April 12th @ 11:30am- 2:30pm: Durant Trails Typhoons Registration
If you have a child between the ages of 3 and 18 and you live in the Durant Trails Neighborhood, you may want to consider joining the Typhoons swim team. For 35 years, the Typhoons have been teaching our neighborhood kids how to swim and compete with integrity, while providing a fun environment for swimmers and parents alike to meet their neighbors and develop friendships that last a lifetime. Registration day is an in-person event in the Durant Trails clubhouse. This is a great opportunity to meet some of the coaches and ask any questions you may have about the season and what the program entails. Board members will be on hand to answer those questions, as well as provide assistance with the registration process. There will also be on-site fit kits available so that swimmers can try on this year’s team swimsuit, and a Photo Booth for everyone to memorialize and celebrate the team’s 35th anniversary!

April 15th @ 6PM: Annual HOA Meeting
Please join us for the 2025 Annual Meeting. This is a time for homeowners to come together and hear what the board has been up to over the past year and what we hope to accomplish in the coming year. We will also hold elections for 3 open positions. If you are interested in running for a position on the board, you can contact us or simply come to the meeting and have your name added to the ballot. The meeting will be in the clubhouse parking lot at 6PM. Please bring a chair!

April 19th @ 9:30am: Easter Egg Hunt
Hop on over to the playground area for some egg-stra special fun! The rain date for this event is April 20th

April 25th @ 8PM: Movie Night- Honey I Shrunk the Kids! Gather your neighbors and enjoy a movie night under the stars with complementary popcorn and drinks. Plan on meeting at 7:45pm and don't forget to bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets. The rain date for this event will be May 2nd.

We are so thankful for volunteers that help make these events happen! If you are interested in helping out with events in the future please let us know! See you around the neighborhood!
